Your paying for quality control and peace of mind with Bk. If knowing you have a genuine Swiss movement and everything is adjusted, setup and aligned is worth anything to you, go Bk. I'm not one of his fanboys and have never ordered from him, but he's got a great reputation over a long time and his prices are fair to me. If your not a detail person and want the absolute best bargain, you can research and find your watch cheaper. It's really about priorities.

Do what Ephry says. With the insert off.... use a small tool to poke the wire into place.

First make sure your watch has genuine bezel construction. I know the explorers do, but I don't know about the GMT. Pull the bezel off and check, unless it gets really hard to remove.

No matter how you do this, it's an expensive watch to build. If I had it to do all over I might buy an already built one (like the one for sale in our watches section) and adjust the watch to my personal specs. If you want a rep to really be convincing and functional like the gen, your going to spend the money $

My theory: The Rolex Forum guys ( not VRM ) have a section devoted to searching the bay. It's a full time job for some of them. This is a Tudor and might be off those guys radar. Really, there's no rhyme or reason to it. I've seen it time and time again a rep gets sold.

I don't know why you think this, I have owned over 30 reps the last 4 years. All were waterproof but for one that had been modded poorly with crown and tube. In all my time around these forums I have only heard of a couple failing.
