Looks pretty good! Only thing I might change would be the hands and the crown. The crown looks off in general (standard rep fare) but the minute hand doesn't look long enough or the right profile. Otherwise, everything else, including the dial looks pretty good!
What bracelet do you have on there?
Bummer - good thing I didn't order one. I went with a Silix case instead... It turned out OK - Big Dazza dial and white lollipop second hand, Clarks hour and minute hands, rep 8mm crown and tube, Clarks T19, ETA 2879, drilled to 2mm springbars and Yuki stretch 6636 bracelet (labeled 7206). Overall, pretty good. Pictures later tonight...
Yeah, spend some time here and even over at TRF seeing which model you like, then come back here and do a search for that model number. After looking at a few builds you can see how far you are willing to take it. Some members here go all the way, to where it's basically gen everything. Others wind up just having out-of-the-box reps. It's really up to you and what you feel comfortable with. Welcome to the forum!
Cool - I didn't even notice that. Would the second one be better than the Clark's/WSO? I know there are some issues with those requiring a retaining ring mod...
Anybody used these? I know Clarks used to carry some (though I didn't see any in his store at the moment) and Mr Slimeball in TX, but anybody use either of these?

Barring either of these, which is the least likely to cause any problems? I know the saying with reps - that there are no guarantees as to parts fitting - but are there some bezels that will cause less trouble than others?
Mine just got here yesterday... Stamped with about a hundred "Inspected by United States Customs" stickers and stamps. Guess they were really curious - looks like probably 5 people had to take a look at it!
Just bought an Athaya 702 crown and tube and wondered if it was a straight swap over into a gen-spec 704/703 tube hole? Does it have to be eeta oped or is it simply swapping the parts?
Really? Over the MBW case? That's what I went with and didn't have too much trouble fitting gen parts. However, i didn't go gen movement - eta for me.
That said, I would really think before making a decision because when I built mine I went through like 4 cheap ones before lhooq pointed me in the MBW direction... Thanks, by the way!
I may be wrong (as I've been known to be with vintage stuff) but from what I remember Hodinkee is iffy at best for "gen" stuff - they frequently have stuff that people "call out" over at VRF.
