  1. That'd be great. Here's some updated pics, one taken at lunch, the other taken off work:
  2. And what's the range? Big numbers early, then mid, then small? Or the reverse? It's too bad the info's not more available...
  3. I used: Phong midcase Startime bezel gen mk3 insert gen 702 crown and tube Startime/gen 93150 bracelet gen HEV Whoopy dial Clarks hands ETA 2879 Cool about the pics - I wondered if you had any more pics of gen cases with issue numbers showing...
  4. Couple more update pics. Not finished yet, but almost...
  5. Hmmm... Looks gen. Check the adjustment holes - if they're all funky, it's rep. Otherwise, good buy!
  6. Hey Ingelero, you got any more COMEX caseback pictures? Mine is missing issue numbers and I want to see what kind of fonts I should be looking for.
  7. Haha - I was like, "Really?? Awesome!!" then I was like, "Ohhhh..."
  8. Come on JMB, you know you want to whip some up...
  9. I'll put in for one. F-ed up my last one, so could use another...
  10. Cool! Mind sending an extra pm, whoopy?
  11. Ooh, cool! Can he do issue numbers too?
  12. Wierd - that earlier gen COMEX caseback has serifs, and the other doesn't... More Rolex variation for you.
  13. Tried Balvenie 12 year double-wood... Eh... Good, but nothing to write home about; not like the previous two I recommended. Those were fantastic. This one, while good, was kind of lackluster. Tiny hints of vanilla in the rear palate but nothing besides honey on the mids... Kind of reminded me of a weak Jameson's. (is that sacrilege to talk about Irish whiskey in a scotch thread?)
  14. Yep. It'd be cool if we could track them down again...
  15. +1. That'd be great!!
  16. Yeah, Phong's is the way to go, except for price!
  17. Yep... Same story - today's crazy price is tomorrow's bargain.
  18. Ah, cool! I thought maybe you'd figured out some really amazing way to move chrono parts around. Cool watch! Wear it well!
  19. How'd you move the subdial at 6?
  20. OK, tried the Lagavulin 16 and the A'bunadh cask strength - highly, highly recommended! The A'bunadh is great - 120 proof and a wonderful blend of cinnamon, cloves, and orange rind; the Spanish sherry casks really come through. The Lagaluvin is kind of your typical islay - a hint of peat with some great citrus notes behind it.
  21. Really?? Wow, wonder if they're still available?
