Today I spoke to more people from Manchaster England in 10 hours than in my whole life. 20,000 of these fans who came to see Ricky Hatton trounce the Vegas resident Floyd Mayweather Jr. have been roaming this town in droves. What a great bunch they are too. A group of 12, who have been close friends to Hatton since childhood engaged me in a lively convo about the fight. It was quite something to see all these people who travelled half way around the world to see their friend box. The fight at the MGM Grand was sold out and many of these Brits had to be relegated to seing the fight on closed circuit instead of live. It made me feel kind of bad. as my wife is a casino exec with MGM and got comp tickets to the fight. (One of the perks of living in Vegas). Both boxers are undefeated and this is one of the biggest fights in a while. Should be a great show. I am pulling for Hatton, the new great white hope. He is the underdog and it is always good to see the guy who most expect to lose, take the prize. Saturday night is fight night.

An open letter from Ziggy to the members of RWG.
hambone replied to RWG Technical's topic in General Discussion
Reading The Zigmeisters posts has been one of the best things about this forum. He is a brilliant watchsmith and has provided a great service to the members here. It is sad indeed that one must agree, and I do agree with The Zigmeister's articulate reasoning for leaving RWG. When you do good honest work and you take that work to heart in the interest of all who engage in this hobby and you are maligned, it is understandably difficult to take and compels one to shy away. The Zigmeister, you should take comfort in the fact that those who have made you feel as you do now are the minority, and that there are a great many here who place a high value on your contributions to this forum. You will be sorely missed, and a break is richly deserved. Don't be away for too long. -
Don't know if that Tag is repped or not, but this one is and looks much better and is a stellar choice with jeans IMO. But that is a matter of taste. Good luck! http://www.trustytime88.com/index.php?main...roducts_id=1717

@Victoria, say, just wondering if you are a succubus. In this case a forum succubus, bombarding every corner of the forum and writing thousands of posts in 3 months that usually takes most about 3 years, thereby draining the will to live of all other forum members? Seems like a suitable thing to ask.

Thank you for this tremendously silly post. Panties panties etc.

Here are three fellows sporting some skin art. No doubt they are not sporting their pinkie fingers any longer. No tats for me although my daughter wants to be a tattoo artist. She will be a good one I'm sure.

Well you did a superb job on that Van Halen ax. Most impressive. Seems that most are not as passionate as you are 2005, and what you do is art. Not doing any mods to a rep guitar, would seem that the level of sound clarity and quailty would be diminished.

Blah blah blah, there are simply way too many whack job muslims pushing their whack job agendas on the rest of the world. Perhaps setting up a string of international lobotomy clinics in hotbeds of whack job fundamentalism, and scramble their frontal lobes, since they are not using their brains for any good purpose anyway. Common sense is the least common thing around it seems of late.

I rep guitar is like rep mayonaisse. Whats the point?

Take a 'Q' from FxrAndy and join up pman. You have already taken a 'P' so what the heck...30 clams is well worth supporting the forum and allows you to peddle your stuff.

A couple of wayward drops of turkey gravy will spot a rep real good.

Found my dream rep...anyone heard of this site though?

Try this one. Close, but you have no worries getting what you see in the photo. http://www.trustytime88.com/index.php?main...roducts_id=1466 -
At Roman Times in the Forum, they have a huge selection of Muller watches, in fact Muller owns Roman Times. I have also wanted a XL rep of this watch, and it does not have to be a chrono. The Conquistador and Casablanca lines are beautiful.

$80.00 ? Thanks for answering the question. The old saying that you get what you pay for holds true, There are exceptions, of course, but for that amount of money you really cannot expect too much.
-
Beautiful watch Bazz. Congrats and enjoy.
-
How much did you pay for the watch?

Rolex MBW from Joshua? A dream come true?Yes!
hambone replied to elprimerozen's topic in The Rolex Area
I know one thing for certain and that is when you order this watch it is not going to be any longer than a couple of weeks max until it is delivered at your door. That is worth the extra couple of bucks versus months of waiting and unanswered emails, and after too much time has passed, the person buying the watch dares to complain about it in this forum only to be labeled a jackass or other such ripe expletives by the seller for their trouble. -
What happened? Did a bus load of hookers invade the mall at the same time? If so, that Santa is one observant fellow.

Now then Mr. Watch Prince, it just so happens that I have for the past month and a half rotated my watches to give them a chance. (Since I bought them) and the HBB is my fav, but still give the others an opportunity so the God of watches does not smote me for favoritism.

The 7750 in the movement is actually pretty good. Keeps perfect time and the chrono feature runs very smoothly and acurately. They sure are costly now for a rep. (over 1000 for the ceramic I paid 700+ for) however it is a superb watch. Just tonight I had people from France who know it and marvelled at it's beauty. BTW the Hublot rg BB ceramic was named watch of the year a couple years ago. It is quite something, and so are Panerai, so my advice is get both.
-
I must compliment D4ME and his great looking PVD Pam as well as TWP on that very fine Bvlgari. Here we have the gold HBB, still my favorite.
-
I think Panerai watches are a mighty fine fashion accessory, like one of those beanie hats with a propeller on top.

What about www.rotorooterdivers.com ?? They claim to send qualified divers into your septic tank to neutralize alien hatchlings programed to take over the African nation of Chad for $19.95. These a-holes must be stopped before they take over the country of Chad!

Start-Of-The-Week Wristcheck (3-4 Dec 2007)
hambone replied to Victoria's topic in General Discussion
If you have a digital camera which has the magnifying glass icon, hit that button as it will allow you to get better close up shots. Also, Sony makes a great digital with a stabilizing feature for those with a not so steady grip. Short of that, use a tripod. -
I can vouch for this. Josh provides excellent communication and a huge inventory of amazing watches.
