  1. Nice review Anton and that is a fantastic watch you have, a super rep for sure. This one has also been on 'the list' and your review was most helpful.
  2. True about the rose gold plating. It is a very tough finish. My RG plated watches have been worn through excercise, sweat and heat, no change at all. The Hublot BB rose gold seems particularily resiliant. No need for paranoia of this kind.
  3. There are countless instances of rep watches being sucked into the turbines of jet engines at the airport. This is the main hazard when it comes to reps at the airport. Be careful out there.
  4. Back in the middle ages, we are talking like 1961, many potential purchasers of rings would insert the ring finger into the anus of a wildebeast. The wildebeast would then turn it's head and say, "You are a size 4 lady......NEXT!"
  5. Someone get that burrito circumsized quick before a fungus is amoung us.
  6. This is more like it. By the way, the painting which is behind the watch is by Henri Mathy and was done in 1925. Here it is sans watch.
  7. Bob Marley went to that big reefer farm in the sky before Panerai became mainstream fashion, so a certain young lady can keep her drawers nice and dry.
  8. Most annoying and sorry to hear about it. Always best to not order any more than 2 per shipment. More than that when it comes to watches is major red flag stuff.
  9. Good question Anton, was wondering the same thing awhile back. Maybe Mrs Brown can chime in and give us the lowdown.
  10. My theme is.. Peace, Love, and Understanding..
  11. Whoa cuz....da buggah no like golden showah..
  12. I remember well, actually when you get man o war sting, go make shi shi on da rash and make mo bettah.
  13. Great looking watch Bruddah! Wear it in good health.
  14. OK then have a few bananas with those papayas..
  15. Seriously Vic, one of natures best rash ointments is the papaya. Growing up in Hawaii, I have seen it used to alleviate jellyfish stings, infectious rashes and a host of skin ailments. The most effective part of the papaya is the inside skin. Remove the fruit and gently rub the inside papaya skin on the affected area and relief is immediate. Doctors will not agree as they want your money, but since you are in Florida, papayas should be available anywhere.
  16. Working Saturday with my Bvlgari Assioma.
  17. Keep in mind that a rash and a Black&Decker belt sander do not go together well at all. A little calamine often works wonders.
  18. That sucks Andrew. I hope this is a rare incident and not a regular occurance, this kind of blatant thievery should not be tolerated and if this assclown is a member here, he should be given the boot........in the head on the way out the door.
  19. When you become comfortable with a classic design and the design is then changed, the normal reaction is to resist change. Had they designed the YM in 100 different ways, the majority would dislike every one because it disrupts their comfort level of what they have come to expect. If this watch were a new introduction offering from Rolex, I think the reaction would not be as harsh, that being said, the new design is not really so horrible, in my view, In fact given the choice I think I would take the new design over the old one having tried on both at the AD, and therein lies the difference. When the real thing is in your hands, it is a world away from seeing it in a photograph.
