"Da Bugga wen owe me a fiddy, he no like pay, so den goin broke his okole"
  2. Congrats to you Jiro, even though you are not a 'noob' to many who know you from RWI, it is a nice gesture and well deserved.
  3. TS, This one is the 44, large case.
  4. This one floated my boat after buying about 20 straps.....
  5. For a moment, I thought I was going to see fiddy in SS, some things just should be left alone, and the fiddy in steel is one of them.
  6. Just delivered from China yesterday, the Bvlgari Assioma. It has a nice heavy, quality feel to it, and having also worn the gen, this rep is nearly identical. As a dress watch, this one makes a nice addition to the collection.
  7. Go to cnet.com they have the best info and reviews on cameras, and electronics.
  8. It will all work, don't sweat the small stuff, and these little operations are pretty small indeed. You should have one of those spring bar install/remove tools. Having that will insure a speedy change. This much I'm sure of anyway.
  9. My first Panerai steel bracelet is on the way. Wanted to try something different and the look of it is great. I had no idea it was more difficult to install than the leather straps? Just screw and slide right? Anyway, the bracelet is for my 111 and from the same dealer so hopefully it won't be a problem. VB, sounds like you need a watchsmith to do that for you. Maybe a spring bar is the answer? Good luck
  10. You should not make such assumptions about others whom you do not know.
  11. This store is in the Forum Shops, Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.
  12. Yesterday when I posted this, I was told and I saw, that the ceramic bezel versions of the HBB were pulled from their site. (A&J). I was led to believe that they would not be selling them at those high prices as a matter of principle. It looks like now I was wrong and I am sorry about that. It is my mistake and I was made to look foolish by attempting to defend someone who is the frequent target of merciless bashing in this forum. What is unfortunate to me about this little incident is the glee that Pugwash takes in my being setup. Pugwash, you sir are a complete and total jackass, and you have no life except for this board. You are nothing but a shill for TTK ,and an argumentative, contrary son of a [censored]. How is that for unfriendly?
  13. It's ok George, many of us have been the victims of bad rep dealers before we discovered this forum. Brand 9 has mixed reviews, so hopefully you will be fine.
  14. I just picked up this baby and it was only $45,000.00
  15. I am glad I purchased my Hublot BB when I did, it is truly a maginficent watch, and the 798.00 paid was well worth it. I communicated with Andrew and the reason he has pulled his ceramic bezel Big Bang watches is because the manufacturer is raising the price $200.00 more. Andrew, (and Joshua) find this unfortunate and must follow suit by raising their prices. REVISION... Yesterday when I posted this, I was told and I saw that the ceramic bezel versions of the HBB were pulled from their site. (A&J). I was led to believe that they would not be selling them at those high prices as a matter of principle. It looks like now I was wrong and I am sorry about that.
  16. I took this shot of the John Varvados Mens store window display a couple days ago. Alice Cooper was the first concert I had ever seen, and it was amusing to see his image in this way. Actually, I think the display is pretty cool.
  17. If the numbers work that well based on such a short period of time then by all means keep it going. Where I live there are massive billboards out for all to see advertising hookers which make these little ads very conservative by comparison.
  18. Well, if more people like you would support the forum witha minimal donation, then this might not be something that they are forced to do to keep things afloat. I am incredulous at those who are so quick to tear apart an idea, yet they spend much time here and contribute nothing to keep the place alive.
  19. @ Tom Riddle, As difficult as it may be to capture the glory of the polished cermic bezel, you have dome a good job. You are right though, it must be seen in person to appreciate how fantastic it is.
  20. Watches, Wine, Women, Works of fine art and Dwarf Tossing.
  21. Watch on, hard off, what does it all mean??
  22. My wife ridicules my love for collecting watches and my kids are ambivalent. Wifey says all Panerais are the same. The expense of the hobby is what gets to her most, however it is the only real hobby I have outside of work which I have found that gives me great saitsfaction and pleasure. It is of much comfort to be in the forum here where there are fellow collectors and those that support the hobby. What really gets to me in this forum however, to digress, are all those who want to endlessly criticise and pick apart what choices we make. We should all celebrate each others taste and joy at purchasing another new watch, not pick it apart, say it costs too much or the font is wrong, blah blah. It gets a bit vapid in here at times with the negativity.
  23. You should not be so sure luisik. The fact is I was in a Bvlgari watch and jewlery store in the Caesars Forum shops when I tried this watch on and It was most certainly the genuine article. You must be referring to Joshuas comparison photos which show the engraving to br lighter in tone then the gen. It is still a superb rep in my book and will be on my wrist very soon. I will post photos of it then.
  24. This is a great feature. It sort brings home the vastness of the internet and is most interesting to see how RWG's membership is truly international in scope. Well done admin!
  25. Very clever Raymond, also very obtrusive. I am sorry to hear that the clasp is giving you problems. I can see that if you have the watch on too tight it might, but mine I wear just a little loose and it is not an issue at all. There are two little edges along the inside butterfly clasp the protrude too far past the buckle housing, and that is what is causing the discomfort. Try it a bit less tight and see what you think.
