  1. Definitely go for a 111 or 112, I'm wearing my fully modded 112 right now, you can't go wrong with either one. And if you start out with a cheap one now it will leave room for modding later (which is an addiction in it's own right).
  2. That is absolutely awesome!!! That is on my list of most wanted, enjoy it!
  3. Shame, because the Fiddy which looks SO BAD on so many butch guys, looked fabulous on my dainty wrist when I put it on, cracked sapphire and all.
  4. I got my 111 back from flav (it's the one in his pics) all I can say is WOW!! The dial is awesome blindingly bright along with cannon pin, and lever mod it has become my daily wearer. I can vouch for the quality if you've been looking for a "painted" dial give one of Flav's a try you won't be disapointed.
  5. What's the difference between Homer and Palp crowns (sorry don't mean to thread crap)
  6. My strap came in from V last week, it is AWESOME!! I want to post some pics of it on my 112, but alas it's off to Flavor Flav right now for a Palp crown install. But I can say pics don't do the straps justice, superb workmanship. MK08
  7. You can definitely tell the one on the left tapers very nice bracelet!!
  8. Hi that is a nice looking watch but it isnt really a Rad looks more like a fantasy model in the 44mm "fiddy style" case. Rads have wire lugs and 45mm case. Hope this helps ultimately go for what you like, but if you want an accurate model might want to just go for a base like the 111. MK08
  9. Actually the Rad is a 45mm case might be a bit large for a smaller wrist. The 111 or 177 are both classic best bets for a first Pam can't really go wrong with either just a matter of whether you like the polished Stainless or the darker more subdued (plus lighter weight) Titainium. And as for the 40mm Pams they really are a great choice some of them like the 050 are among the more accurate reps out there. MK08
  10. Does anyone have a link for these straps I'd love to mount my Ti pam on one, that buckle is awesome!
  11. Wow you guys have had some issues with EL Fiddy's. I bought one from a member on TRC sometimes I think it's best to buy off someone else and avoid the issues and shipping back and forth to rectify the problems. Mine is on it's way back from Flav today he did the works on it cannon pin, his custom lume, lever mod and movement lube. But I have to say you did some great work on yours looks very good.
  12. I have a fully modded 177 on the way from ThumbWa I'll post some pics when it comes in. Really great to deal with by the way.
  13. The lever will be fixed so it offers some resistance when opening and doesn't just flop around.
  14. I have an EL Fiddy I bought from a member over on Replica Collector 117 case, sapphire without the blue AR hue that is a dead giveaway, and swiss 6497 without the modified plates (not a big deal cause even the best rep movement is a dead giveaway). Mounted it on a Bob Vertigo strap, now it's in to Flav for cannon pin, relume and crown guard mod. So in short the path to the best Fiddy is to pick a good base then spend the extra to mod it up.
  15. I pretty sure neither the watch or the bracelet are availible any more.
  16. Sorry Max I didn't realize In that case sorry to double your pain
  17. This just came in the mail this morning, bought it from a member over on RWI. A Pam 192 with the TI-SS bracelet, what can I say the watch is absolutely awesome very cool combo with the polished SS and Ti. And with the Seagull movement peeking through the display back and running flawlessly what can I say the 177 used to be my all time fave, this watch is making me seriously reconsider
  18. I don't have any strap culture straps, but I have that exact Bob strap and I can vouch for it excellent value for the money!
  19. Hi all just got an e-mail from Angus. He said this should hopefully be availible by the end of the week. Guess we just got to wait and see.
  20. I can't wait to get my hands on this one! Are we gonna see any pics of the final production with the adjustments that have been pointed out?
  21. Hi to all I would appreciate some input on my next purchase. I have it narrowed down to the 199 upgraded Regatta and the 250 Daylight both on stainless bracelet (Asia 28,800). Does anyone have both? Which is the better of these two? Thanks in advance.
  22. Got mine through Angus (Rosegold version) absolutely no issues whatsoever runs perfectly. It is a great watch, if your even slightly attracted to the Big Bang you will not be disapointed. The feel of this watch on the wrist is terrific (even rivals some of the gens in my collection) I highly recommend it.
  23. I for one will be dealing with Angus he's come through with great communication again!
  24. I agree Bob Sanders is a difference maker on defense really helped stiffen up Indy's run D. And hat's off to Manning he went through years in the pressure cooker people questioning his ability to win the big one he's now the reigning Super Bowl MVP! Although the Bears did some things to shoot themselves in the foot they did get plain outworked and out muscled by the Colts on both sides of the ball.
