  1. Fanstastic watch (rep and real). Of course EL has great tastes, doesn't surprise me one bit that u got one EL! What a crazy long-armed regulator on the OEM!!! I love it, but I wish that there was one made with a black dial. I am kinda predictable as I only rock the black dials I saw this IWC at the Forum's Tourneau in Las Vegas last month. What a killer watch. As far as the 42mm size, I find it to be quite nice. I have a vintage Omega that is 42mm with 22mm lugs.
  2. They do come up for auction from time to time. IWC parts are hard to come by. It may be months before you find what you are looking for - but it will show up at some point. I have seen what you are looking for over the past few years. Arrrgh, the agony of the wait. Frustrating indeed!
  3. Ohhhh yeahhh, that's a sweet strap! I can't wait to see pics of the watch in question!
  4. Read on and enjoy! Here's some great news: you will never be ripped off again.
  5. What did the bird stop dancing? Because of the other leg!
  6. I love the sig! I wish there was a perfect rep of the watch though... Dang!
  7. I am happy to be driving everyday my fairly-recently acquired E32 750 iL. An oldie yes, but my goodness it puts me in a ridiculous stupor when I think about it. I enjoy wasting my money fixing her up (need new struts for the self-leveling rear hydraulic system est, $1500 ouch!). It's pure love for me out on these rough LA streets! It's strange, I guess I love old things... Next step: '97 840 or 850. Why? Because I'm an idiot with an unfulfilled fantasy.
  8. Gentlemen, I am most pleased to see that there are finally more IWCs coming out for us! Certainly this means that the rep makers know that us consumers do indeed desire IWC watches. Finally a sign! For the longest time I was sure that the rep makers could care less about IWC (and certainly less about us annoying perfectionist-type RWG members). Now there appears to be a change of tide. Wow. Could this mean that a perfect MK XV looms up ahead? Leave it up to tha man, EL!! PS. Thanks R.T. for thinkin' of me!
  9. Ahh ok, shorter pushers and more pointy ends to the crown guards. Perhaps a tiny bit more space between the 5 minute markers and the subdials. Essentially undiscernable details IMHO. What a great rep! I gotta get one.
  10. Love the watch. I gotta pick one up, where did u get yours?
  11. Once again, hats off to the master (& company)!!! Cheers
  12. Real nice. I had one that I sold of a year ago. I miss it. I will buy another one some day. I, too, look forward to a perfect SD. One fine day I presume...
  13. Very nice tank. Enjoy wearing it! Cheers
  14. 001 is tha best!!! Check out the Lello Crown on my 001. Looks OEM! Sh*t, the whole damn watch looks OEM!
  15. I HIGHLY recommend that you use a chrono hands remover for the sub-dial hands, not the regular hands remover in the pic above. As RBJ said, use tissue paper or face the consequences of a scratched dial.
  16. I think you'll be screwed with the pusher placement. The V72 has different asymetrical spacing.
  17. Great knives! Oh, and nice watches, too!
  18. Too bad he's not in Vegas anymore, I've been going there a lot lately for work.
  19. Very nice specimen you have there. Enjoy. One day I'll be picking up one of these to add to my stockpile. Cheers
