My sub with a new Bond Nato and a Guinness backdrop

Nice pic! -
Yup.

Nanuq's observation about the "vertical edge" is the key here. This "lip" has a large part to do with the overall asthetic of the geniune crystal. I wish someone would rep this crystal - - let me rephrase what I mean: I wish that someone would replicate this crystal to OEM standards. I would like to have a waterproof T19 that I can trust. Anyhow, best regards PS. Here's 2 more...

All aftermarket T19's do not look anything like the original Supersome (this includes MBW, Clark, GS, etc). And, all RSC T19s that are not the original Superdome iteration are totally different than the original T19. What I'm trying to say is: there is no substitiute for the real thing. And, so that you know, the T19 Superdome is as rare as hen's teeth. I can spot a Superdome from a mile away. Anybody who's seen the real thing and/or owns the real thing can, too.

Clearly this is a watch that is well above my very high & exacting standards. Magnificant piece. I am greeeeen with envy!

Yes, the new Aquatimer is my next watch. Just a couple more weeks

Really? Far away from 100%? Please do tell The caseback issue is irrelevant since the watch resides upon one's wrist. And if anybody, in person, attempts to pass judgement upon the smoothness and/or crispness of the caseback font, they would get a bite from me It is very well done and not discearnable from the genuine article unless you have OEM sitting side by side, with a nice Leica 10X loupe, a nice comfy high chair, adequate lighting and major time on your hands. Of course, this is my opinion, but if you can come up with a rep that is closer to OEM than the Ingy, let us know.

Holy Shiiit, if that's what the watch is gonna look like, I'm ready to buy it right now despite the potential 7750 woes. 42mm is perfect for me. 44mm is too big.

Here's what I have planned thus far for this very busy weekend:
-
I am sure that Chad is experiencing the agony of the clasp digging into the side of his wrist. If you don't have wrists larger than 7.25", the deployment buckle will be very uncomfortable. IWC designed a terrible deployment. And by the way, who puts on a strap the opposite way with the short side @ 6 so that the deployment markings are facing the right way? Not me, not you, nor really anybody for that matter! IWC really fouled up on this one. The rep deployment is the same as OEM design-wise: annoying. Anyhow, I think y'all get my point: stay away from the deployment.

Elements of nature against me and against Reps

Dang homie, I hope it works out. Best regards -
Those old Seiko chronos are great watches. People outta give Seiko more props for their in-house movements! I am a huge fan of the old Seiko Dive watches. Anyhow, great restoration, what a treat to see. Cheers

It's about time!

Keep her! Please don't rip her guts out! The Daytona is a piddly overrated watch. I can't believe I made 2 of them. Talk about guilt. There are some ugly V72-powered watches out there if u look long enough. Spare this one! JM2C Cheers

I think I'm going to strap on my 1675 in the morning. It's been awhile.

Nice strap, nice watch, but most importantly: it's always the right time for a Guiness. Cheers -
Yes, I forgot to mention that the new Ingeniuer does have a display back, which is real nice. But, it does not have the anti-magnetic iron plate. This is a first, I believe, and perhaps a bit heretical since the Ingenieur line always had an anti-magnetic iron layer. Regardless of staying true to its lineage, this new watch is really something to behold in person. My AD told me that she has sold 7 of them in less than a week. Wow. It ain't cheap either, with an MSRP of something like $7800 w/o tax. PS. I also really liked the little red accents on the markers/hand on the watch.
-
So today I went to my local very large AD to look around. I actually needed to exchange something, so my business there was, uhhh, legitimate Anyhow, as I was filling out the paperwork for some stuff that needed to be ordered from La Conf

It's funny, I washed my E32 yesterday afternoon, too! It did not rain, but by the time I came around to buff the wax off of the roof, I noticed that there was an inordinate amount of fresh bird droppings SoCal might lack rain, but watch out for sparrows, chickadees, parakeets, seagulls, morning doves, wild parrots, robins, bluejays, etc...

'97 alusil Although my first was a nikasil block (no problems, but somewhat high mileage). From my experience, if the car never had the engine swapped during the factory recall, it's ok (so long as it was always serviced by BMW). If u get nikasil, go for a car that originated and lived on the West Coast. The high sulphur content of the East Coast gasoline in the 90s was a contributing factor to the nikasil block breakdown. West Coast gasoline content calls/called for less sulphur in the mixture. The '97 is essentially my daily driver. Gas mileage really ain't bad. I rarely get a chance to open her up on the fwy since there's always so much traffic (I know you know what I'm talking about). I am thinking about selling it for the V12. My '91 E32 is a nikasil baby with a lot of miles, but still purring like a kitten; or rather, like a large cat that eats a hell of a lot. My missing year... Yes, indeed! I had been dabbling in hifi for many years, but I finally dedicated some time to fill out my array. Best regards to you and the rest of RWGII ----> Cheers!

One of the best damn reps ever made. I'm lovin' mine...

Don't understand why a non-chrono Aquatimer ain't being made. Who the hell wants to deal with all the potential frustrations with a chrono movement when we got 2824 and 2836, etc... ??? What a mystery. Nothing makes sense in this world. I guess I should not even bother tryin' to figure shiit out in the rep world I know, I know. If I put on Sahib Shihab's Companionship double LP on my AR-XA fitted with a Shure V-15 Type III fed through my massive quad-amped Sansui amps/pre's into my four AR-3a's... Sense can be made. Or maybe I can slap in J-Dilla's final mix into my 840's trunk and drive with tears in my eyes, while bringin' smiles of sadness to cats' faces out on tha block.
-
Nice & nice. Can't wait to get mine back from The Zigmeister.

Stunning action. I really need to finish my last 6263. Your watches are really beautiful. Fine watches for a gentleman with discriminating taste(s). Best regards
