  1. Kruzer00, my 3717 is keeping perfect time and the chrono functions are flawless. I am very very impressed! Monsieur The Zigmeister, thanks again for all of your hard work. I will be back as soon as I get the new Aquatimer Cheers to you both!
  2. I like this one, but it's not for me. A brown dial is not my style, neither is a brown strap. Oh well. I do really like the dial marker font though. It reminds me of some vintage IWC's and various vintage aviator watches. It also reminds me of the some of the wonderful contemporary Blancpain chronos ---> very nice. How about a rep of the black dial version?
  3. Interesting franken of a grail watch. Too bad it's a puny 36mm
  4. It would be cool to see the pics of the watch(es). Imageshack has removed the images
  5. Yup, the pics are not showing up for some reason. I would like to see these detailed pics Cheers
  6. I never really take wristshots since it is often difficult to stay still for a sharp picture. Here are basically all of my (mostly very old) shots. Some of these watches I have long since sold off...
  7. Happy B-Day!!! Wearing this lovely, I mean really lovely 3717.
  8. I got it today from The Zigmeister. Superluminova, ETA Day/Date wheels, Swiss 7750 movement... The Zigmeister is tha man! And so is Se
  9. Dang Zig, I am very impressed! Looks like as soon as I get the IWC Slevin, I'm going to send it to you for a relume. Wow! Best regards
  10. Grea idea. I've always wanted a dealer clock, too. It's funny though, I've never seen any clocks at any AD
  11. Best bang for your buck. The SKK-007 is one of the best watches made. Yes, I am serious about this claim. The 7S26 movement is bullitproof, the Lumibrite paint is awesome. The sheer ruggedness though is what makes this watch the ultimate beater. It is really really tough. No wonder this is the world's #1 most used watch for serious scuba diving. It makes perfect sense to me that folks trust their lives with this tank! Cheers
  12. I agree with TMG. Sinn, Tutima, M
  13. Not me. I do not mix water pleasures with wristwatch pleasures unless I'm wearing an SKX-007K, Doxa, SAR, Squale, Candido, Auricoste, etc...
  14. Very nice choice to begin with. Sinn made/makes some amazing watches. I am still on the hunt for a BUND-issue EZM-1 Cheers
  15. Great news TMG, thanks for the head's up. I will buy one for sure. Especially if it is up to OEM standards as far as fit and waterproofness. Cheers
  16. I see that the DW fury continues. Like I said earlier, this is impressive that ya'll put up with all the price inflation, shoddy shipping techniques, less than stellar usually incorrect random parts... And I'm not even talking about what the hell has been done to the damn Valjoux 72 prices. We outta be ashamed at what we have done. There was a time when Valjoux 72 was a glorious movement that an individual could collect in various different watches. Those days are over thanks to us, the idiot rep people. Yeah, I'm bitching, but I include myself in this idiotic scenario. I was dumb enough to follow suit a long time ago like ya'll are doing now. And yes, I regret it. I regret that this ever came to light across the board to the open public. I have seen forum members try to scam on eBay for a long time. It makes me fume. If you want $$$, get a real hustle that does not screw up our special reality here. Well, it's too late now. It was bound to happen. Oh wait, it's been happening for a 1 1/2 years already. I'm glad that my portfolio consists of 99% genuine watches. PS. No offense intended. And certainly no offense to anybody in particular. I'm just bitchin' out loud.
  17. There was a book printed in Japan that featured the erotic watch collection of several world famous japanese collectors. I recall looking through the book many times while on my way to the subway station, but I never bought it because I did not want to carry it. The bookstore was always closed on my way back home, so I never could buy it. Well, the day I decided to buy it, the book was no longer there, and it was out of print. Lucky me.
  18. Ohh yeah, steel and rubber for me, too. Nice, this is getting to be a lotta fun again. For a long time, the rep game was dull - - not anymore!
  19. You guys are still trying to make these watches??? You all realize that they are so tiny/diminuitive in size? Well, to each his own... But look to the horizon, or rather, look to new heights, there are far greater watches than Rolex! PS. This is coming from a serious & professional OEM vintage Rolex collector who's been collecting genuine vintage Rolex for more than 15 years.
  20. It's hot in both places...
  21. Impressive! And that's coming from a genuine 5513 owner
  22. My mid-60s 1675, including the original bracelet.
  23. They did make a solid caseback version, but it was 34mm in diameter. Ok if you're a lady, but I'm not, so forget it. Anyhow, I do not remove my watch for anyone to try on. They can look at it all they want, but it stays on my wrist. Cheers
