  1. Thanks for the reply. Do you mean the radius needs to be tighter?
  2. How do they look? Did I remove enough?
  3. It looks like the sub and LV have been removed, but here is the link to the YM: http://www.pc-80108.com/rlyms10018-beginya...ing-p-4228.html
  4. Actually, that movement seems to be the 21j Asian 2813. Look at Josh's new Yachty for $108. My guess is that the new sub and LV will also be $108. Looks like a really nice watch for $108 It would figure too. I just ordered the $78 XMAS LV from Andrew. I hope it ends up being one of these.
  5. Looks like standard "noob" case (SN: 520117) with white movement. Am I right?
  6. I bought mine from Josh (exact same watch) and asked him if he would sell me a couple inserts. He did for something like $15 or $20 a piece (can't remember exactly how much). You might want to try and contact your seller, if no luck there, check with Joshua (Perfect Clones). Good luck.
  7. Well, at least you called them fag ends and not fag butts. Now that would really have drawn snickers from an immature American like me!!
  8. And while we are on the education topic, it's always good to keep a close eye on a young child, watching for harmful tendencies. For example, my 5 month old son Jake is the subject of so many pictures that it is starting to go to his head. I caught him recently acting like a super model trying to shed a few pounds. So I've been educating him on the dangers of bulimia and hopefully, I've nipped this behavior in the bud.
  9. I did not. I'm waiting for an ETA date wheel and then I'm planning to send it to The Zigmeister for installation of tube, crown, date wheel, and full servicing. Please let me know how yours turns out.
  10. Is this what you are looking for? http://www.ofrei.com/page1105.html
  11. I'm listening to my ipod playlist called "Bad Mutha songs" which includes: The theme from Shaft Kung Fu Fighting Superfly The Rubberband Man I'm always looking for more songs for the list...Suggestions? BTW, before that I was listening to Metallica - Kill 'Em All and next I'll listen to Bob Marley - Songs of Freedom (Disc 3). I like my music pretty diverse. Oh, and By-Tor, Rush used to be one of my favorite bands in High School (1977-1980). I had all the albums to that point. I haven't listened to them in years until I joined this forum and saw your avatar. Since then I have bought the following from itunes: Rush Fly by Night Caress of Steel A Farewell to Kings 2112 It's like being reunited with an old High School buddy...Thanks for that.
  12. Mine arrives tomorrow, but I am currently in NYC on business and won't be home 'til the weekend. Let me know if you have any trouble with yours. Thanks
  13. Thank you sir. I'll hit you up as soon as I have acquired the parts.
  14. I was hoping you'd reply to this The Zigmeister. I've read tons of posts about work you have done and I'm very impressed. I am waiting for a ETA 7750 date wheel that I want to swap in. Once I receive it, would you be willing to do the work (service and repair the movement and install the DW)? Can I PM you when I'm ready? Thanks, Mike
  15. Has anyone done business with these guys? http://watchpart.co.uk/valjoux-7750-date-r...ndow-p-943.html Thanks, Mike
  16. I have a slight problem with the chrono reset function on my Omega SMP chrono. When the chrono runs for a short time (less than 1 1/2 hours) and is stopped then reset, the reset works well. When it is run for 1 1/2 hours and is stopped, the reset button must be pushed rather hard to get it to reset. When the chrono is run longer than 1 1/2 hours (I tested at 3 hours) and stopped, if the reset is pushed with normal pressure, it resets to the 1 1/2 hour mark and needs to be pushed harder to get it to reset to 0. Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a fix? I hope all I need is to have the movement serviced. I have 2 other watches with this movement that don't act like this. Thanks, Mike
  17. I'm jealous!! I'm not even going to post pix of Denver where it's supposed to hit a high of 20 today. My brother is in the hotel business and lives on the big island. We go visit every year (except last year, as my wife was pregnant). We will be going back in April or May. Instead of Denver pix, I'd rather post some Hawaii pix. This shot, as well as my avatar shot, or from our lanai at my brothers hotel (Waikoloa Marriott) of the sunset over A-Bay (Anaeho'omalu Bay): My wife enjoying another A-Bay sunset: Lu'au at the Marriott (I love me some kaula pork and poi!!): One of my favorite places, Waipio Valley: Our very favorite secluded beach on the big island (we were the only people there this day): And a couple from Kauai. Poipu beach at sunrise: Waimea Canyon: And the Napali coast late in the day: Sorry for posting so many shots Lani, I'm just in love with your state. Every time we go, my wife and I spend the next month trying to figure out how we can move there. My boss tells me each time I leave, he wonders if he'll ever see me again. One of these times, he won't!!
  18. EDIT: Never mind. I found an old The Zigmeister post that has the info.
  19. Does this apply to the SMP chrono as well? Thanks, Mike
  20. Thanks The Zigmeister. Do the ETA 7750s do this?
  21. ...chrono minute hand 2 seconds before the chrono second hand hits 12:00? Is this adjustable? Thanks again, Mike
  22. I have a SMP chrono that has a slightly misaligned chrono minute hand (12 o'clock) that I want to reset, but can't figure how to remove the anti mag cover!! I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to watch work/repair, but did do a subdial hand resetting on a sec @ 6 Daytona, so I feel pretty confident in doing it to the SMP, if I could only get to it. I did a search, but couldn't find the answer. Little help please. Thanks, Mike
