  1. +1. The SLSD comes with a 2836-2 movement or clone. E
  2. Wearing this today. I'm liking the basic ruggedness and good looks of it.
  3. Since the movement is rebuilt you can always trade it here for a gen 2836-2 which will have the taller cannon. Or you can soure the parts from ofrei and have someone add these in. I did this for a different build but holding on the rebuild for later. I do have to say its not sooooo noticeable on the SD in the pics I posted. Parts do fit
  4. I would too E! That things looks awesome with the DLC treatment
  5. I built this one for my wife like three or four months ago. Just recased it about two months ago. SLSD case and modified pearl by me. the 2824-2 fits tight in there which I like. Just have to use a movement ring that fits, or trim the one you have. Notice how well the DWO aligns.
  6. It depends on what year SD you're going for. I currently have a seadweller built with a 2824-2 in a SLSD case using a TC V2 DWO. Worked out alright.
  7. Wearing this today TC dial and hands lume matches the gen SL perfectly
  8. Patience is key for sure. There's a GTG for the 29th. See if you can make it.
  9. Nice dial there.
  10. When I built mine it took me about a year of parts gathering to find the right sources and ebay parts sourcing. I lucked out with a few gen pushers for almost nothing(Used a pair on the 7032 as well) Worse case scenario, the Ofrei pushers are not too bad and are gen replacement parts. Always make sure you re-grease the o-rings before installing in the case. Safe assurance that you will be water proof to at least wash your hands and such. The T21 from Ofrei was actually a good upgrade, although the t21 from Clark's was good as well, I ended up using the Ofrei one(Had a lower profile)
  11. Well, I was able to source two cases with the newer domed mineral crystals. The measurements look to be close to the gen replacement, so I may upgrade to a sapphire crystal later. So far I will keep one and either DLC or Crakote the other(black lume stealth type thing), or sell it. I definitely like the PAM Chronos. The 212 on a diver accordion strap looks awesome.
  12. 3ROC dials are sweet. Maybe a bezel change and gen pushers?
  13. How about the bezel assembly?
  14. Thank you admin.
  15. Looks like fun times guys. I'll make it for the next one for sure. E
  16. I should have sold my gen dial on eBay. Damn!
  17. Have been wearing this all day. Still at the hospital with the wife. She'll live.
  18. You need the TC 93169a bracelet not the V3. sounds like a good recipe. That's an 93160a I meant to write.
  19. I wore this all day today. Haven't been posting much lately. The 666 projects continue. E
  20. Sorry guys won't be able to go. Next one?
  21. Asking is how you learn. Practice makes perfect. Corny I know but thats how it goes. The TC overlay is not that thick at all. You will need to glue it I place on top of the existing date wheel ensuring that each date progression matches the date window an orientation. Spuds harder than it is , bit you need to take your time
  22. If you have a 2836-2 the date wheel fits lower than the standard 2824-2. I actually am thinking of selling the PBDad dial and hands super lumed combo. JUST FYI Setting up the TC datewheel is not too difficult, but make sure to use a glue that dries and secures well, but that is also manageable to align everything right.
  23. Hate to resuscitate this topic, but I wonder about the NDT 16800 dial that is currently on sale and how it compares to Gen. I am looking at pictures and it is not too bad at all.
  24. The ultimate seadweller already comes with a pretty bright setup which also matches a gen luminova pearl and even fits the SSD V2 case without sanding
