  1. Hmm. I need to unload more watches and finish these projects. Time, time. Why don't I have 32 hour days?
  2. Submariner. Again
  3. Sorry brother. Got side tracked. have been putting some work on Duke's 666 and the Tudor has taken a back seat. Took a custom order and well, the Tudor will have to wait. On a different note, I found two 5514 cases in a trade that look really good maybe when I'm done with the custom work I can finish my 5514 and the big crown. So far I have all of the parts for a big crown build minus the bezel assembly.
  4. Interesting. I would just use it for a sterile sub build and be happy with it. Save the y3135 for something else
  5. Wearing the Sapphire Submariner
  6. Serial number between lugs would help. Bezel construction also.
  7. I'm digging the coronet a lot!
  8. That is one sick piece Coop! Are you adding more to it or leaving as is?
  9. Wearing this today. After getting the correct no-imperfections dial for my wife's 360 I took a sterile luminor case and built this on PAM rubber(oh Vanilla!)
  10. This is an awesome write up Chiman. I got lucky with a 448 Josh case that was already aged(have to polish and refinish it but has potential) and the write up for the 3846 to GMT conversion is my inspiration. I think I will keep it as a 1655 though. So who really has the right date wheels available? E
  11. I keep saying it, we need a Sapphire sub section. E
  12. That looks really really good CC. Eric's work is always excellent and his customer service skills are up there As well.
  13. Woof, to boot, you would think that a factory would get smart and start making big crown sun correct cases out of the defective "crowned" cases that take a gen bezel assembly. Turning a profit from a mistake.
  14. I may need to start gathering parts again. I want a panda dial
  15. CT that looks awesome man! Congrats.
  16. The ST case is sterile all around. Gen case back fits. Gen tube fits perfectly as well.
  17. +1 on Alligoat. If you must have lug holes, you can always have someone drill them and save some money.
  18. I found a lovely 1680 red dial that I may use in a build. HH talk to me about your cases and dials
  19. Do it Y! Just let's keep the name of ST as ST for respect of others and google hacks. I'm getting paranoid as [censored] now. So if we can name this case the ST3035 or for the other one the ST3135 I think we could be a little safer lol
  20. Keep your Frankens and laugh all the way to the bank.
  21. Boy oh boy I may have some completion for you soon .
  22. Thanks Fidhle. Basics for now(I will post a full build with more details when I get the gen parts sorted): ST 3035 case(Softened, lugs re-drilled for better fit. Repolished and aged case) ST crystal retainer, click spring and bezel and gen spring washer Gen 16800 insert and pearl(Pearl was switched to SL to match the TC dial) Gen 2836-2 with TC V2 DWO TC 16610 SL Dial and hands BK movement adapter Gen 703 Crimped crown and Gen tube Clark's crystal (2mm with 3mm, but switched to a 2.85mm gasket later) Gen 2mm spring bars 93150 bracelet, with correct clasp markings, etc... with aftermarket 501B end links(End links had to be reworked and reshaped to work as these are WSO units--I know I know) in the picture the end links are actually 285 gen ones from my 5514 parts bin that I used to wear the watch. TC V3 93250 bracelet to alternate Fully water proofed and tested now goot to just past 4 ATM(If I can get a bigger container/pump I can definitely go past it, although diving the watch has gone to 47' max after changing the crystal gasket) Once I get my gen dial and movement setup sorted i will transfer the TC parts and movement to a BK case.
  23. There's plenty of people paying their drug dealer via PayPal. I don't see how this forum and transactions is worse.
  24. Is that a 2836 with make up movement? I can't tell. Trevor case?
