  1. Looks nice. I hear the food and everything in Croatia is off the hook
  2. Pre-V, Show off! lol I like it in the NATO but that brown strap is nice. E
  3. Giving the 7032 a break. Wearing the Daytona today.
  4. Ditto in time delays, but the wait is worth it. His 5514 cases are excellent. E
  5. I'm getting a dns issue with Verizon at home.
  6. Thank you brother! I was having my doubts about that NDT information Looks good and I even love the little "fault" on the dial. Looks aged and old and purposeful. The case still needs work I think, but getting there. E
  7. Freddy, Yours and Ubi are inspirational for sure. I really dig the first picture. I made it my desktop image. Thanks for sharing. E
  8. This is what I'm working with today. Need to test it out in real world usage. The case was softened a little bit and repolished. Clark's t21 installed and sealed with hypo cement just to be safe. The bezel was also buffed(not the greatest DW one but it's what I got) gen pushers and gen crown with a Bk gen like tube. The dial I got from Chi and I believe it's an NDT. Hands are DW. The movement is a now smooth and awesome 7750 serviced by Spinmaster. Waiting on a gen folded 7835, for now, the grey NATO looks good. May change it to the strap I got from Eric later. Edit: Yes, the minute counter is shifted - half a minute it's irking me enough. E
  9. Amazing!
  10. I'm so glad this thread came up. M, you are truly a gentleman. I am looking to finish the 3ROC 'Tona correctly. Since I am still waiting for good epoxy to finish the SSDs, I decided to put together the 6263 case using the gen 703 crown and tube and the gen replacement pushers. BTW, these pushers were purchased as gens and instead of the striation on the outside, these had a hex tool pattern. They did fit the gen thread size, and actually have a decent type of o-ring seal, so I'm keeping them. a bit of Rocket glue for the crystal just to be safe and crown tube and pushers got the Loctite. Spinmaster did a phenomenal job on the 7750 movement. This thing has been rock steady for the past three weeks gaining and losing 2/3 seconds a day. I will take pictures tomorrow. All this hijacked and said, I think out of all of the bezels for the money the DW is not "bad", but the Phong is a better choice. I submitted a bid to the one Eric bought on eBay and still no reply. E
  11. That looks good like that Tee. The Explorer project keeps calling my name, but I MUST finish the SSDs. E
  12. I hear you. I'm even thinking of a sterile/vintage build just for fun. E
  13. Ok, who has the best source for these then? I may be looking for a vintage military edition for an upcoming trip. E
  14. ASCI, thank you brotha! Keeping it simple for The championship at Wimbledon
  15. Amen!
  16. Thomas , You're my hero! Welcome back! The 3135 is good news and I'm Glad things went well. Btw, you have a few emails from me sir. E
  17. Looks pretty good Red. Updated pics of the watch on first post. I softened the edges a bit and repolished it. Added a gen replacement insert from Rudy(sanded down and fitted correctly) then used the buffing wheel around the insert once installed to give it a worn look. The overall finish is not too bad. I will probably change the crown and tube later on. So far full water proof and may go crazy and drill the lugs just to add more flavor. E
  18. No to hijack the tread, the vintage bezel assembly is not very good. Needs a lot of polishing and fiddling. Also, their insert DOES NOT fit their own T19 crystal, or a gen, or Clark's. Now I wonder about they 16610 case I never received from them. E
  19. HAHA. I'm big and fat, just wanted to clarify that. Sounds like you had fun. Next time you guys are in town we need to get together. There is this Venezuelan place downtown that makes killer treats. That watch looks great and somehow I don't think it's just the lighting. After wearing this Noob, I may move up to a TC and call it good. Perhaps a 16800 for a change. Thanks for sharing. E
  20. Yo Ascii, The green eye/dark hair combination is a weakness of mine. Damn that's a good visual. E
  21. That's crazy! case back looks like a DW caseback!
  22. M, are you calling me big and fat? Lol the subbie is growing on me. Is that the TC you're wearing? Btw, are you still in NY?
  23. Giving the Tudor a rest. 16610 while drinking my coffee. E
  24. Loving the 1680 Cats. E
