Grey market is around $2700-$2800 at the cheapest Theres one on ebay that will go to the highest bidder in a few days, wish i had money to bid as the starting bid is pretty low, it has the new bracelet, and numbers Idk if anyone has tthe spare funds and is willing to do it, but if someone could buy it and hold on to it, i would be willing to buy it from you at cost or a little higher (assuming it sells at $2300 or less), I have some taxes incoming, as well as paychecks with overtime and am willing to sell my clone ETA DSSD rep as well as a 14k gold chain (roughly 1 ounce total weight, you do the math) If i didn't come through, it would be easy to recoup the cost

Ive seen prices around $2500, if something in the $1600-1900 pops up in a few months, maybe i could make it happen Yes i saw that one somebody bought at 1650, i want one of the ones with the numbers on the new stainless steel bracelet, doubt this configuration pops up below $2300-$2400 And maybe you guys mean the avenger 1 Seawolf, i see those at around the prices you guys say But 1 Avenger II Seawolf at 1650 does not make it a history Another big problem, i dont have a collection to sell, i have 1 $300 DSSD to sell, which i probably will sell to fund the Avenger II Seawolf when the money will bridge the gap

my Doxa sub 300 no T need a bezel (please help me)
tyrantblade replied to kleidist's topic in Other Brands Area
well, i tried a quick google search and checked a few of the results, it seems like you will have a tough time sourcing the bezel, but good luck, maybe if you post your inquiry on the right watch forum somebody will respond -
im starting to think ill never be able to buy my grail at this point, not because its expensive (because in the watch world it isnt, i dont have tastes for the very expensive as far as watches go, in fact i think many times theres not enough going on to ever justify what those watches cost), but simply because i can never get ahead, i try to save and bills end up getting stupid high then i think taxes may help, but NYS is ridiculous when it comes to taxes, federal isnt much better unless you are married, with babies, go to school, and pay the government extra money each week, or at least 2/4 this is why all i will ever be able to keep long term is a $300 rep

wacky styling? sounds like what a hipster might say to explain why he wears an odd hat (look up Cigaratt), glasses, a bowtie (The Two Guys Bowtie) , etc heres what i think of SevenFriday, the Dietrich, and certain others https://www.pinterest.com/pin/303922674829107361/ -

Well, they clearly spent way too much somewhere and/or are too greedy, either way, way overpriced for what you get TThere are so many cheaper watches that look so much better and im sure many with a better movement too at the price it costs -

Personally i dont care what it is, you should not have to compromise on looks for comfort, i think maybe the designer was on LSD when he designed the whole thing I think both the Dietrich and SevenFriday should be maybe $300 for a confirmed gen, straight from where they cost over $1000, even then i wouldn't buy -
Another watch i don't get the appeal of

As far as im concerned vintage and good don't go together, but thats just me

Well, a brand new Avenger II Seawolf wont be in the budget this year since my taxes were almost none I may be able to get roughly $2000-$2500, but even that will be hard, so unless overtime keeps rolling in i will probably have to forget about it as i know buying one may set me up to get broke again It truly sucks to work hard, sometimes for over 60 hours a week, and many times still end up broke

Im just wondering as i do, like the majority don't bother with a watch at all, those that do wear some cheap quartz powered watch And there i am, looking like i have thousands of dollars on my wrist (of course i dont, i would not subject a watch costing thousands to getting banged up at work, so its nice to be able to have a decent/good, reliable, rep watch) Of course i suppose thats a factory job for you (probably the cheapest factory in my county at that) Anybody else the only one at your workplace that actually likes (and has) a decent watch?

Of those three, i like the blue and yellow the most, but the diver models really don't interest me, except for the black dial one with a couple touches of red, but ive never been a fan of anything but stainless Steel Regardless im sure they will gain a following and be repped

-
Not sure where i first saw them at, but there were 2 super avenger ii reps, both on stainless steel (looked like old style) for $80 with a quartz movement There are a few crappy super avenger ii reps for 158/168 on perfect clones or trusty time website, these ones don't look any better than the ones i saw before Since they have them kn their website and they must exist as they are do terrible they are obviously reps, you favorite TD should be able to get them for you, they seem to be available in black dial, white dial, and brown dial (fantasy) with the new numbers and i think black dial with sticks, but they all have a poor attempt at old style for bracelet or leather
-
They have done no Avenger II models though, besides a super cheap super avenger ii that is way off, i know not everyone likes the big Seawolf models, but theres the GMT (43mm size) and 2 different sizes, slightly different chronographs, they even reduced the size of the Avenger to a size more friendly to more people (43mm size) It should of been a no brainer to make a super rep of one or two of those models, when they did and it sold well, maybe they would do more Anyways, i said i was done, im going to not keep posting these threads (and if you guys let it, this topic will die) as im going to get an Avenger II Seawolf when i get my taxes, and then if the factories don't rep these updated models, it will be their loss and better for me as i will have a nice genuine that doesn't have a rep version out, and that makes it all the more special

Yes i know they sometimes pop up used on ebay, but from what i can tell the Cobra Yellow dial doesn't seem to pop up like the Volcano black dial does I would like to eventually have both, but the Cobra Yellow is in the lead for me because there is no shortage of black dialed Swiss brand dive watches out there The bold yellow is just more unique and its the only Breitling with yellow that i can see owning (the others are mostly not designs im crazy about, and the last avenger seawolf yellow looks too pale to me, hence why i didn't buy a rep of it) I might just go the gray market way, granted the Cobra Yellow dial Avenger II Seawolf will be available with the stainless steel bracelet when i actually have the money, at close to a typical or low price im not spending $3200, when typical is $2800ish) I was just looking for some insight into what the actual different is from a dealer of some sort and gray market, besides gray market being quite cheaper (gray market to retail price difference is over 50% increase) Im also a little unsure buying a used watch for the amount of money they go for with just anybody (not an authenticity problem, just wouldn't want to buy a misrepresented (or worse) watch)

I know I will get a sizable tax return around the corner and want to buy an avenger II SEAWOLF, I love the looks, it's in the size range that I like my watches (dive watches of that size fit me well, I know from having super reps of an 8500 generation PO rep (45.5mm size) an SOSF REP, and mosT recently my DSSD rep, all full stainless) and since a super rep is probably not gonna happen and using taxes is probably the best opportunity I will have to buy one if I can safely afford one I will go for it (I do have some extra money coming, plus will probably sell my rep Dssd and a gold necklace as well) what I'm wondering is, what are the chances of getting one at a reasonable discount from retail, I wouldn't even mind buying a pre-owned one, but if I go pre owned I would like to buy from a boutique or authorized dealer type place where I am there are no nearby boutiques, there are 2 "retailers" as the Breitling website puts them that aren't too awful far away in essence, if I can swing it, and it's an option, I could see $3500 from a boutique/dealer to either buy it new, or lightly used, but I think the $4500ish they can run retail is a bit steep given gray market price $3200ish tops (2800ish or slightly less typically) with stainless steel bracelet) otherwise I'm thinking about buying gray market, but what is the difference between buying new from a dealer/boutique or a gray market website besides price? It iwould be my first genuine Swiss watch purchase

so this is an updated Emergency or just looks like one? either way, i dont think many people want an Ani/Digi rather than a nice mechanical automatic (Analog), and i think you have a higher chance of winning the lottery than the rep makers doing an updated Breitling
