People think that all off coloured subdials from this era are Patrizzi dials but imo if the subdial rings are not a distinct brown colour then they aren't Patrizzi. The white subdials became cream or ivory (which I personally think look much much better) that's patina. There was a batch that had a flaw in the paint pigment that caused them to turn brown over time, I don't like them in person but to each their own. You have one hell of a nice watch!
Thanks, I sold my previous dial and hands and got a new set with darker lume... It's too easy to damage the hands and dial when removing the old lume so I opted to just swap. He updated the artwork a little to address a few details
When I first got it the lume looked too light and I was kind of disappointed but then I realized that in most lighting he nailed it, the lume he did matches my pearl exactly! So I'm happy after all lol!
Photos are fine in this case, you're all in this together and if he wronged one of you he wronged you all, when it comes time to complain Paypal will hear the same story from 5 buyers from around the world, they will obv believe you all no video required.
Great comparison! Now people can really see the diff between phong and Minh, I wear the heck out of mine. When I had the dial replaced I had my polisher do what we call "collectors polish", it's very light, I figure with a light polish every so often it'll start to look really good. Thanks Nanuq, means a lot and yours looks soooo good!! I can't wait to see it after your final mod
If you heat the cyclops with a mini blow torch lighter for 1-2 seconds it slides off.. Use something hard and plastic to slide it off once the glue that was holding it has been heated. Voila, no cyclops but still has a date.
If you must have it just pay with Paypal (not gift) and record the box being opened maybe to make sure all is ok, Paypal backs the buyer more so it's a risk but not a huge one
