  1. Yes these look too dark, ive put in an order, but i cant live with the dark hands, ill take the slow beat correct hands over the fast beat and incorrect hands. Or is it the light? Andrew can you share some light on the matter? thanks
  2. Oliver is the guy to talk to, his got a funky piece assembled. checkout his poll : gen or rep GMT II
  3. The date is a weak point on the asian 7750... a swiss 7750 will probably have better date position. however a lot of expensive watches have poor aligned date.
  4. well i took the plunge with andrews, since i am planning on putting in a swiss valjoux., but i may buy Angus verstion too for better case and AR crystal. anyways, dont know where you live in Netherlands, we could do a gen vs andrews/joshua's.
  5. One thing tho that is different is the bottom side of the case, especially the shape from the case to the lugs (also on the bottom) the joshua/TWG version is a bit square compared to the gen and to the one posted by Angus on TRC. Jushua/TWG Angus The gen has the bottonside of the lugs shaped more like Angus's version
  6. thanks Joe & Alligoat iam using ubi like tool for pressing lol
  7. Its a rep, i got the same, contact eddielee11 to find out if he has more. worth every penny
  8. Thanks my friend!
  9. Ok seems the circles are hard to photograph on the rep aswel as the gen. check this pic http://www.trustytime.com/images/BREITLING/BSW0026E.JPG you see different shaded circles, which seems to be the tiny grooves. heres a detail shot of the circles on the gen http://www.dotcom-life.com/joyful-watch/ma...luebar-0002.jpg
  10. I think it does have screw down pusher http://perfect-clones.com/images/1/1171/1.jpg
  11. no grooves on the real deal either http://www.blitzwatches.co.uk/images/produ...ires/bre156.jpg http://www.blitzwatches.co.uk/images/produ...ires/bre607.jpg
  12. Hi all. This thread has been very informative, i managed to get all parts off including the crystal retaining ring. Only thing i got left is crystal itself. How to remove the crystal? i read lift the crystal, but i cannot seem to lift the crystal. Did i miss something here? or do i need some kinda tool? I dont want to damage it because i need it later. The watch i am working on is a WM whiteletter 1680. Thanks, Slick
  13. drool, what a beauty!
  14. He keeps low profiel, last week bought supreme yachtmaster for a friend. Pleasure to deal whith
  15. cool watch, i've been waiting for 7750 chronomat for ages. never seen one worth it.
  16. They are swiss parts assebled in china. They are swiss parts assembled in china.
  17. Don't know either, i make the cash, i spent the cash however i please.
  18. love the caseback, never seen polfy before
  19. It could be the pic, but it looks like the dial is shifted to the right.
  20. you have good chance it wil be reusable. If too long you can cut off, or you can buy stem extenders to make it longer. or you can buy other stems, they are not expansive. btw je kan het heel makkelijk testen. je kan het makkelijk knippen met een knijptang met schuine bek.
  21. Count me in for sure, ill take 3 dials.
  22. reps of DD & DJ are albeit minor nit-pitting-things aside, very good. Only case when your quote holds true, if the pic shows the watch on a weighting scale.
  23. I have variouse gen, and rep 2892 based watches, and i must say, i have difficulty seeing any difference in sweep smoothness between 2836/24 and the 2892, if any. i dont think is worth it.
  24. arch, what is the current party count? i would be in for 1250 bucks!
