Personally i could care less if construction is 1:1, most important is, it accepts insert withouth modding the insert. the so called 1:1 construction from watchamster9 does not accept gen insert.

Congrats! I myself have a 6 years old MBW TT sub which is going to turn 7 in about six months . By know the crown needs to be changed as the plating comes of, the rest of the watch is stil like new.

Just to clear up some mis-understandings about hacking the 2846 There are hacking and NON-hacking versions of the 2846 available. Be sure to check it has hacking before you buy. Brands that mod the 2846 to hack: hacking Tissot (click for link) hacking Zeno (click for link) Heck even trusty Andrew has a hackable 2846

I agree, the plain 2846 from eta is a non hacking movement, but some brands modded it to do have hacking function like: hacking Tissot (click for link) hacking Zeno (click for link) It is therefor of no wonder that watchmaster filled my 1680 with a hacking Zeno movement.

I suppose it was an option, I have an 1680 MBW from watchmaster which 2846 powered, it hacks. Also got an old datejust with an 2846 which also hacks.

Actually the 1 dot on platinum is correct. I think they are both real because: dials loos gen (printing, coronet, day/date windows) crowns look gen bracelets look like have little stretch, but no sign of lost plating. Pics of the backs shoudl put an end to the dabate. Often on reps there are no precious metal hallmarks, just the plated SS case. Heck most of the time the clasp will say "stainless steel".

Interresting, the rehout thickness also seems thinner then the non-wok.

If you dont mind a rep dial, a day-date is just as easily done as a datejust. It is just that daydate cases use precious metals, which are expensive and not easy to source. Regards,

Cool watches,... the newer pam's do nothing for me whilst the oldies have a soul... the raised crystals, the crowns... Too bad i have a tiny wrist.. But I like them a lot, all 3... wear them well!

Thanks, As far as i know, the "confirm number" refers to proof of the item being picked up IE delivered. it can be verified online on the USPS website. I've already asked the seller for the the number so i can call the carrier at my end, but unfortunately i have to send 2 or more pm's to get 1 answer. Some clarification: I'm in the Netherlands, item was sent from Texas. It is a member sale, not from any of the Eastern collectors. I did not negotiated any form of shipment, nor a custom's value or description, never done in the past. I always let it up to the seller. With over 30 trades with unique members it always turned out good, both custom's or otherwise (communication etc). But maybe i should in the future. Regards,

Hi all, Im in the middle of a transaction, which progresses terribly to say best. The item sent to me, cannot be tracked according to the seller, however the seller does have a 'confirm number'. I've checked the USPS site, but information is inconclusive, so i wonder how does confirm number work, and is it available without tracking. Thanks. Slick

@bklm1234 check the bezel assembly on click for post #130 The bezel does look similar to the pre-production model

I ordered also more then 10 cases from him, all where good, except from the fact that some cases did have tiny dings, and that was not described. But bezels, crystals, and tubes where all geniune.
