The mods cant do much more except informing members to not send there watches till this situation is cleared.
Another member called the guy on the phone, unfortunately withouth result. Jakub resides in Poland right? did someone contact sql_pl (Maciek), maybe he lives in reasonable distance from jakub and could possible pull off a friendly drive-by.
I've had my muller tested and its 18k, not a 10k base plated 18k or anything. I cant vouch for the PP or Brequet.
Keep in mind the unwritten rule dealer takes custom issues probably does no apply on these watches. Better to bring this up prior to buying IMO.
I seriously doubt the socalled diamond coated mineral is better then saphire. This is not something new, its called Saphlex and mainly used on lesser priced watches.
You got the heat it. Try a hairdryer (or if it aint capable try something heavier like a butanegas torch )
BTW
Nice Rollie! gen bracelet and tudor hands will finish this baby up quite nicely!
Rare or not, is sure looks handsome, look how the case floats on the strap, the domed crystal, the clean dial... i could go on for a while...
Congrats.
Anyone tried to fit the sec@12 movt into the current MBW cases? It seems the current MBW case has a slightly slimmer case profile.
@supermanx
Richard lawton has both and confirmed the finish on the MBW is better then the current sec@12 version.
His movement is unmodified swiss so there aren't any issues with it... i think i stopped the sec @ 9 because it looks goofy when the 30 min register runs continuously
I don't get it. Better make a gen version of the colamariner instead of inventing crap. This piece makes the colamariner looks like stunning piece of art... and whatsup with those megalodon crown guards??? Guess the rep makers where years ahead of polex ...
