You have some good points, in regard to The Zigmeister, i don't consider him a modder, but a watch-smith and sooner and later our watches need service. I guess you are right that there is always a demand for modders. Maybe a list of 'proven' (correctly planned/priced/communicative) modders could be off use. But it does not guarantee things always workout... take finepics for instance, i think he is no scammer, but things didn't go flawless...

Could not agree more, best thing would be to learn things yourself. Plenty of info and helpful members to get you through a hefty job. My only 2 close encounters with so-called modders both ended in dissapointment; 500+ euros for a damaged glued together watch, the other case i was merely asking a question and get overly priced quotes in reply... guess who?

Hi and welcome... I have been told that best sub you can buy is from rolex. Outhere, there is no such thing as the best sub, thay all have different personality and flavours. None is the best, you will find though that some members prefer one above the other for various reasons... it's all in the mind...

The missing pic is not a problem, in short you need to grind of a couple of mm from the inside of the retaining ring whilst maintaining an exact round shape, for the ring to (pressure) fit over the crystal on to the case. Well rumor states that a tourby is more a technical archievement then practically gaining accuarcy in time measurement over an normal escape assembly, so my guess would be twice as crappy.... but i cant say because i dont know crap about watch movements

Some models are availeble on ebay, this model however, i have not seen yet. I would not be suprised if soon a fantasy dual tourby Brequet rep will show up on some dealers site....
