  1. Does the watch carry AR couting?
  2. Just for your info, there is one short, sorta review over @trc
  3. It sure is a nice teaser Did the watch came with the blued hands?, and also, did you have to mod the dial to make it fit?
  4. Z3ko is right, It's al mechanical watch, you have to engage the crhono with some force, it is not like pushing electronic button on quartz watch...
  5. v23 is more reliable but still need to freeze hand @ 6.
  6. rhodiniert as for as my german goes means rodium plated... but not sure
  7. great looker.... funny tho, i got a 5 years old mbw 16613 Two Tone with lug-holes and open six-nine. The dial on mine is less less correct then thisone, however the off-center 'swiss made' is still there
  8. the 12 hour index on the minute hand is a bit odd
  9. good news, i wonder what our rep makers can do with these new movement... I would love some classic pieces of the old fart brands club
  10. Hi nice project, i got the same going, only went different direction.... Yours looks like some transitional model... If i was to nit-pick i would say you should press the bezel some more, looks like some space between the bezel and case... Great work!
  11. I know i am late, but me too have to get one .... Gotta haaa'vit
  12. Nice writing
  13. Actually it is paul who ads every posible gold(plate) description to his listnings. But it is the solid 18k sold by EL. Pricing was 1200 for 2824 upto 1600 for the 2892. To compare, this is one from EL
  14. ill vote for the 1675
  15. The odd thing is, my MBW 1665 has the crown perfectly centered where my MBW 1680 has the crown too low
  16. Cheers mate Behave, and don't do things i would do
  17. Fitting a gen crystal can be done (maybe on some models perhaps, i don't know) but i cant find the topic, but recently a member did let a watchaker put a gen crystal on a rolex gmt rep.
  18. If it dont work out for whatever reason, please consider me as a loving home for your overseas
  19. There are more then 2 different cases on the market, even DW cases come in different production runs, and thus different flavours/generations
  20. no, definitely not. you will need quite some parts tho, like crown, dial, bracelet
  21. When i feel like dressing up I'll pimp my wrist with this solid 18k rock. Unfortunately these are no longer produced
  22. The guy could be telling the truth, however the only thing that bothers me is where the tube-hole is located on his so-called 1:1 (klik for image) All his other pics of complete subs (Z-model) show a crown sitting too low. ah well, seems business is good since exposure from RWG Time to fezz up, who placed an order?
  23. If i may ask, where did you get the 'OEM insert compatible' bezel? looks really sharp
  24. another thing you need to consider, especially when you want to tranfser parts/use gen parts, or want to nitpick correctness, is the location of the date window. Some GMT's have the date + cyclops placed too far to the right. You will need another date overlay if you want to use a genuine dial for instance...
