Are you sure that you are winding the movement correctly? Also, pull the crown and forward the time and see if the day date moves forward, don't try to change the date. Date shouldn't be changed if the time is between 10pm and 2am.

You might be better off going after some quartz gens, you can find some nice Victorinox and TW Steel make some very nice affordable quartz watches. The quality you will get will be much better than any quartz rep you are going to find. If you really want a quartz rep I think watcheden has a large selection.
I have Toros beginner 111m. It definitely holds it own with my more expensive PAM's, its definitely worth it. But be prepared it isn't the same quality of course, winding isn't as smooth, crown is too close to the case etc...but still I like it and wear it alot!
It's the same as buying her fake diamonds. Passing something as real to your own wife in my opinion is deceitful. I wouldn't do it without telling her first.
maybe it happened by itself? I had a crystal pop and shatter in my watch box, typically due to being installed incorrectly I believe. I am sure many have heard of that. Maybe its similar but didn't completely break?
Thats not true, I have seen them as low as $400, but you have to get lucky. I think you can get the Rolex movement for $2k which is more expensive than the Angleus.
Nice what, like others have said, avoid winding it from the crown, don't use the chrono either it can shorten the movements lifetime. Why does the out portion of the dial look cream and the inner portion look white?
Are you kidding! You can wear the watch for ten years and return it to Costco for a full refund...j/k nt sure what the return policy is on jewelry, but people did this with TV's before they changed their policy. Most other stuff at Costco could be returned after any amount of time has passed.
