  1. You need to upload pics correctly. Use the pic icon when replying so they show up like this:
  2. Are you sure that you are winding the movement correctly? Also, pull the crown and forward the time and see if the day date moves forward, don't try to change the date. Date shouldn't be changed if the time is between 10pm and 2am. Tony is asian7750.com
  3. Silix is trustworthy. I don't have experience with that rep but have bought a couple of watches from them.
  4. Three isn't enough! So many variations. I would need a 114, 288k and probably a 111.
  5. You might be better off going after some quartz gens, you can find some nice Victorinox and TW Steel make some very nice affordable quartz watches. The quality you will get will be much better than any quartz rep you are going to find. If you really want a quartz rep I think watcheden has a large selection.
  6. I have Toros beginner 111m. It definitely holds it own with my more expensive PAM's, its definitely worth it. But be prepared it isn't the same quality of course, winding isn't as smooth, crown is too close to the case etc...but still I like it and wear it alot!
  7. Its $187 according to the Ofrei site.
  8. It's the same as buying her fake diamonds. Passing something as real to your own wife in my opinion is deceitful. I wouldn't do it without telling her first.
  9. maybe it happened by itself? I had a crystal pop and shatter in my watch box, typically due to being installed incorrectly I believe. I am sure many have heard of that. Maybe its similar but didn't completely break?
  10. Thats not true, I have seen them as low as $400, but you have to get lucky. I think you can get the Rolex movement for $2k which is more expensive than the Angleus.
  11. I PM'ed you but your box is fll, can you PM me details please? Thanks!
  12. I thought the Ebel 1911 Discovery was not available anymore in rep version. You can by the Gen for around $1500 though.
  13. The person under me did not read all of the posts in this thread before posting. Sent from my gTablet using Tapatalk
  14. Nice what, like others have said, avoid winding it from the crown, don't use the chrono either it can shorten the movements lifetime. Why does the out portion of the dial look cream and the inner portion look white?
  15. I like the one in the first link
  16. for anyone interested, the authors watch can be seen here, scroll towards the bottom: http://revo-online.com/forums/main/read.php?2,102326
  17. Yeah, that is what makes it so damn beautiful.
  18. One of the first watches i saw when joining the forum was that albino GMT Master and to this day its still my fave rolex. I love that thing.
  19. Are you kidding! You can wear the watch for ten years and return it to Costco for a full refund...j/k nt sure what the return policy is on jewelry, but people did this with TV's before they changed their policy. Most other stuff at Costco could be returned after any amount of time has passed.
  20. Besides the fact that you can't buy the rep anymore either Sent from my Flashback 8.0 using Tapatalk
