  1. I agree with stormtrooper. May I educate you in some ways please a. don't post the same thing under different sections of the forum. You're apt to piss some folks off. And why are you asking this question under the auction and scam sites? b. SEARCH. Remember this word and read up. All the info is available. c. Unless you have the intellect of a frozen hedgehog deprived of parental love, I assume that you can read very well. Well after searching, do just that: READ. d. Whats that? But you're here only for a day and has 12 posts? Oh welcome to RWG, where you make friends and mingle better by not trying to post like you're pissing out of the window without opening it first. Backsplash is fucking guaranteed LK
  2. Do yourself the favor and get the gen... reps are not for you, they will never be 100% and they will always disappoint in one way or another. Watches, bags, clothes, same theory. If you want to complain about differences from the gen, then forget about reps from this point onwards. Suppose the dream rep is one that is 99% close to the gen but at 1% of the price. Most of the quality reps fall short of both ends in terms of closeness to gen and price factor. (maybe 80% close to gen but at 3-5% of the price), but that is enough to draw us all here, to dabble in them for different reasons. Unless you can learn to live with that, its going to make you a very unhappy man down the road. Granted, the size could be a supplier mistake, but for the rest of the differences, there's a reason why you are paying a small fraction of the price vs the real item price tag. For these differences, It is not the mistake of the guy whom you bought from, but rather its a design flaw from the rep manufacturer. Talk to whoever you bought from, be nice, and you will get it nicely resolved.
  3. Angus was offering the forged carbon version.. but now, it seems that they've all been snapped up. I agree with you guys, the color of the dial is still off.. but its still an awesome looker.
  4. Thank you S! I never knew the Search function exists! Now I guess I would give up asking the all-time two favorite questions "Where can you find the best (insert famous watch brand) replicas?" and "Who are the trusted dealers here?"
  5. you mean you're not supposed to run?
  6. So much so that I suspect "Connie" is the same name used by the persons running the business Well, all of them are very trustworthy!
  7. Connie from Kingwatch can be trusted 100%. I used to go with them, but I stopped only because of the payment options offered became limited with the removal of paypal.
  8. hey baby bear. Nice shots B!
  9. well its different strokes for different folks I guess.. but yeah thats the estimated cost of an AP franken, and honestly, a franken like this is "real" enough to pass off as the real item most of the times, barring some very minute details... A used AP of the same model would likely cost 2.5-3 times more I guess, so its a matter of how much some folks want the looks and close to gen feel of the watch on their wrists.
  10. By the time you were reading that, that guy who arranged the article may be well out of a job
  11. There is a platinum section for platinum members. Also, platinum membership is a good way of showing support to a forum which we all thrive in.
  12. Is this the forged carbon version or the one that is steel dressed to look like forged carbon please? I can't tell if its off or accurate from that pic
  13. looks very nice. Certainly something very different from the animals or tribal themes out there.
  14. You answered your own question mate. HBB all black is a classic. And avoid the daytonas sec@6.. I just sent mine to MD2020 for repair
  15. the watch is 100% fake. The hands give it away. Good one edgematic!
  16. Hi Zackyh About $900-1500 for the gen dial, 2892 + DD module maybe about $400-500 or so, hands are rare and I am unsure on costs or availability. You would also need to remachine the case to reposition the crown, and shave the caseback to make it thinner.. I would say that the cost of sourcing parts for the franken plus the works involved would amount to more than $3000 these days.
  17. i propose to ban member Mr Z. We cannot, ever, have some sickeningly capable members running around wild Might be a bad influence to all of us.
  18. gen AP ROO parts are becoming increasingly rare. Dials are still available off ebay but good luck with the hands! For the LWO283 movement, you can get the ETA2892 + DD module equivalent off ebay or members here. Daytona1984 is one of the more experienced member here pertaining to such things. Watchmeister is another. PM them for help, they would be able to point you in the right direction.
