  1. Just swapped to the black ExpII. It's a good watch for Saturday.
  2. Morning Europe (and USA a bit later). Starting the day with this watch, which is already a "modern rep classic".
  3. 99% of the Rolex forum guys couldn't spot a fake. They even have a report section there with their own "experts"... when you combine enthusiasm with cluelessness you'll get dreadful results. Of course there are some HC collectors who know their stuff... but they're in the minority. I visited the TRF once, browsed around for a while, and I couldn't believe the amount of perfectly legit Rolexes that those guys reported. Amateurs! I think it's a disgrace to report someone's auction if you're not 100% sure that his watch is a counterfeit. I haven't visited in a year or so... so maybe things have changed. Ah well... not a place for me anyway.
  4. Excellent work. Thanks. I will add this review to the TAG Guide of course.
  5. Good morning RWG! Wearing this elegant white today.
  6. Is this about reps or gens? About gens... Pepsi GMT is my "grail" watch. Rolex has never made more perfect watch (just mho). Will never sell it. About reps/frankens... my white Explorer II CHS is pretty unique. Will never sell it, either.
  7. Glad to see you back Ubi! Been busy too... not much time for the forums. But wearing this one right now.
  8. Yeah... I'm actually very surprised how much I like the BTR. The subdial thing doesn't bother me at all, and I seriously doubt I'll get the updated version later (if it even comes out). This is good enough for me... it's the "watch presence" that counts. Don't forget that BTR is available in white as well.
  9. Whatever you do, don't get white Explorer II rep. The hour markers are inaccurate grey and it completely kills it. It's a HUGE flaw. Discovery is actually 43mm, gen and rep. It's a bit smaller than BTR. The bracelet is different too... BTR bracelet has "rounded edges". White dials aren't probably for everyone, but Discovery is the coolest white dial watch I've owned. And maybe the most accurate replica watch ever.
  10. G'day all. Wearing my Pepsi GMT today.
  11. Took a dial shot of my gen Aquaracer. Isn't the blue just beautiful!!!??
  12. Wearing my beautiful blue today.
  13. Happy Wednesday!!! I'm wearing this incredible bracelet version of BTR today. I'm lovin' it!
  14. 39mm... besides 16710 these are my favorite Rollies.
  15. My BTR, but this time with a bracelet.
  16. Yeah, it's just sports. Funny thing about soccer is that it's very "peaceful" game... a gentleman's game... no fights, apparent cheapshots are very rare, etc. but the spectators can be very violent. There are football riots all over the world. Then compare it to hockey (my favorite team sports). Lots of fights and aggression in the rink but the fans are (generally) very peaceful and don't take the sport THAT seriously. I love hockey and I don't understand why americans don't appreciate their most international sports league (and easily one of the top five professional sports leagues in the world, NHL) more. It's an amazing league, and many NHL players are international stars... even superstars in Northern & Eastern Europe (unlike baseball and american football players who are only your "local heroes"). But then again it's not a popularity contest... it probably has a lot to do with whatever you grew up with. I actually find American football very fascinating game... baseball too. I simply couldn't watch those sports anywhere before Internet came... they get ZERO recognition in Europe.
  17. Good to see you Pugs. Just passing by.... It's been rather hektik lately at work. Wearing this white beauty right now.
  18. I'm sure the Brits feel the same way about cricket.
  19. I don't know why this subject always causes so much heated emotions. Not to say soccer is the greatest sport or anything, but it's the superior sport when it comes to worldwide popularity. It's ridiculous to even compare other sports to it. Soccer is played all around the world, by BILLIONS of people. American football, which actually originated from European rugby... imported to the US by British soldiers... is virtually non-existant sport outside the US. The only international North American based sports are ice hockey and basketball, but neither of them can be compared to popularity of soccer, which is played everywhere (Africa, Asia, India, etc.) World Cup is the biggest sport event in the world, hands down... and it's viewed by BILLIONS of people. The soccer stars are truly world famous... and I doubt an average European/Asian/African could name even ONE American football/baseball player by name. With the exception of Japan, where they play baseball (I think). Funny thing... despite being played all around the world, there has never been a World Cup final without one of these four countries: Italy Argentina Brazil Germany The "big four" have won multiple championships and besides them, only France and England once (and Uruguay in the 30'S) have managed to win the World Cup. Only 7 countries total!!!
  20. Cool!! Some people often forget what this hobby is all about: Fun! Enjoy your nice "budget" GMT my friend.
