  1. Wearing today: The watch that has gotten the most wrist time lately... of all my watches: The magnificient GMT.
  2. Hey, I found a few pics of the genuine grey dial Link Chrono. Perhaps these will help to see the possible? difference? Click the thumbs for full size.
  3. Nothing special, just found these from YouTube: Calibre 360: SLR: Aquagraph: Monaco V4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sM5D4jUHX5o...ted&search=
  4. Any good looking young female ones?
  5. Definitely not. The admin team is great and the atmosphere in RWG is liberal and good. Why would we need someone new to ruin it? Best moderator is an invisible moderator. Net is full of pimple faced little Trekkie bastards who think they grow 10 inches when they get a moderator position... and can start flexing their "Internet muscles". The current group is fine... if it ain't broken don't fix it.
  6. Looks like the community is going to divide in two. Very unfortunate... And I agree: very bad decision.
  7. Beauty. The Snowflake hands version is really something else... I agree with others... get an acrylic pearl or remove the pearl altogether.
  8. I thought you'd never ask. I have collected some pics from local auctions... some are from the old RWG (we once had a similar thread there).
  9. I'm wearing my SMP Chronograph today.
  10. No... that's a typical flaw for this aftermarket insert. That particular Pepsi insert which is available through Ebay (with 8-10 dot too low) also has too dark and matte colors (red and blue). I bought new (better) ones for my watch long time ago.
  11. Wow... it's like Jeffrey Dahlmer calling Gordon Ramsey a bad chef. Now I've seen everything...
  12. I wrote a complete review of the ladies' Link. http://www.rwg.cc/members/Review-Of-Tag-Li...rtz-t14263.html
  13. Yes, because on the GMT the holes for bracelet pins are positioned more towards the edges of the lugs. On the rep "Bond" they're more in the center... so the pins of the Bond bracelet won't go to the original holes. Not a big deal though... just small bowls inside the lugs will suffice... they're not visible after installing the bracelet. And after this the bracelet sits perfectly. You need a real small drill though.
  14. Well... I guess this is just an excuse to post a new pic of my updated black Omega GMT.
  15. Yeah I know... all work and no play makes By-Tor a dull boy. I like the Speedy bracelet too... but now it's easy to change back and forth if I ever get bored. Thanks again for the bracelet mate.
  16. Thanks Tonibari. The bracelet has pins, and I bought it from a fellow forum member "Moppel". It's originally from Andrew (Trustywatchguy). I guess he sells them separately. Now it doesn't have the "hidden" clasp that's used on the genuine GMT Black, but I don't really care. I really like this watch with the "Bond" bracelet. PS: Most likely you'll need to drill two new holes inside the lugs because the pins on the "Bond" bracelet are positioned differently.
  17. Ok guys... here's a first shot of the watch with the "Bond" bracelet (as promised). Which bracelet you prefer?
  18. Use hearing protectors when you're wearing the rep. There... problem solved.
  19. To the front page: http://www.antiquorum.com/eng/index_eng.htm To the auctions: SMP: http://catalog.antiquorum.com/catalog.html...p;auctionid=158 Planet Ocean: http://catalog.antiquorum.com/catalog.html...p;auctionid=158
  20. Thanks guys. I bought a "Bond" bracelet for this watch a while back but the lugholes are in different position and I need to drill 2 new ones there. Will post pics when it's finished. Personally I like it much better on the Bond bracelet.
  21. Hi stang. All my articles and reviews are linked in my post signature. Here's a link to this particular article in RWG: http://www.rwg.cc/members/Complete-OMEGA-S...uide-t4509.html
  22. I usually always agree with Watcher. But YachtMaster midsize looks completely different. And again it uses different font. The watch in the original pic isn't a midsize version. Here's gen midsize Rolesium which is a different watch. Just look at the tiny GMT-style crown and the date position (more on the right as Ubi mentioned). There's something strange about the dial of that YM... unless Rolex has made some recent changes that we're not aware of.
