  1. @oswald: Congratulations! Wear it wisely... its a hell of a mvmt (with a sexy ticking).
  2. Unfortunatelly for some people ethics have a different meaning... M.
  3. @Mark - Got him! Waiting for his reply now... same kind of humor as yours. BTW What are the dimensions on your strap? Marco
  4. Mark, just to tell you that I started to eat my nails again... Never seen such a fine strap specimen and now I want one... Badly. Rob is a leather master... do you think he will do one of those for my 3646 in time before my trip to the Kingdom? Marco
  5. Wow, I am impressed! Can you ellucidate us on how to age the hands? Very subtle work you've done there! Cheers, Marco
  6. From that point of view everything is "available"... anyway thanks for the info. Meanwhile I will stick to the cal. 616 it is a wonderful and gorgeous mvmt. Cheers, M.
  7. Cripes... cal. 618 available? WHERE? I have one cal. 616 and "met" half a dozen more but so far no 618 crossed my way... but patience is a virtue and I sense some smoke on the horizon... Cal. 620 and 620R are fairly common but I never measured those mvmts altough they almost look the same as the 616. If somebody knows the specs on those calibers please do tell. @Finepics - You have PM! Cheers, M.
  8. By means of frontal insertion for sure... I think you can not take it out from the back like with the 616, but I may be wrong.
  9. Looks AMAZING my dear friend! Now you just have to dress it with a WW2 natural strap from Manifatture Firenze! BTW wich hands will you install? I got a set from davidsen (RXW MM golden hands for a Moljina) but haven´t tried them yet... Did you detect any problem installing the subseconds hand? Just one warning about the crown: You will have to file the hole of the CG in order to house Davidsen crown (it has a bigger diameter than the porthole on the CG). That will be a very delicate operation and I wish you good luck doing it (I blasted my engraved Brev. Ital. CG during that surgery!!!) I would advise you to get a fiddy crown instead and shorten the CG lever's arm in order to work properly! My dial (wich is the same as yours) seems to be slightly off-centered the 3 is closer to the border of the dial while the 9 is more distanced from it. Does it also happens on your dial? Marco
  10. Subject number 2** thanks for your explanation.
  11. I would surely go if I lived there! Wish you a wonderful meeting. Dont forget to post some pics! Cheers, Marco
  12. What does experimental psychologist means?!? M.
  13. One day I will move to good ole Blighty... The only watch I had from Taiwan that passed our customs was a Rlx Sub (go figure!!!) from Joshua. All the other watches (5 Pams / 1 Rlx 5517 / and a Jaeger) were hell and back ... Maybe I am just short on luck, but thinking of those mornings inside the customs office just gives me the creeps... M.
  14. Oswald, Love those clear back crystals!!! M.
  15. For two decades I thought those dogs were a portuguese exclusive... the same with Vinho do Porto! Methuen treaty strikes back!
  16. Did I tell that I can almost read in the dark from the glare of my relumed vintage 3646? M.
  17. This baby would deserve a "Brev. Ital." CG...
  18. Its a diver´s watch... not a paratrooper's!
  19. Let me say just this: Mark's Plexi crystal's are even better than the genuines... and its not only my opinion! Keep that in mind if you consider my opinion. Cheers, Marco
  20. Please stay with us Enzo. Some of us have serious problems acessing RWI. For some reason I cannot acess the forum from here (my house). Marco
  21. No need to thank! We´re here to help each other. I am also happy that you like it!
