Why does the gmt hand not line up? I thought that The Zigmeister serviced it. He could fix that, can't he?

I just got water in my MBW 1680. The crown/tube were replaced with a genuine. My watchsmith thinks it's a matter of the crystal seal as that was also replaced by whomever I got the watch from.

That is a very nice comparison. Maybe I have to get myself a seadweller now.

I just received a nice Breitling quartz chrono from Neil. The seconds hand for the chrono didn't reset to 0. It would reset to 58. I took it to my watchsmith who showed me how to align the seconds hand to zero by pulling out the crown and hitting the chrono start button repeatedly which advances the seconds hand to wherever you want it. He said something about how to align the minute hand totalizer but I wasn't paying too much attention. Does anyone know how to align it. Right now after screwing with the watch it's pointing at 20.

Does it seem like the same case as the Nick Faldo? I don't have an issue with the step off with the case to bracelet on my NF.

The 2892 Frank Muller Conquistador from Josh has a spectacular polished bracelet. I've handled a gen. With your eyes closed, you probably couldn't feel a difference.

You should take the diamonds from the bezel and have them glued to your teeth. I hear from dentist friends that that is the new dope thing to do among the pimp daddies. Then you can find yoself sum bitches!

Size, does it matter? The bigger it is, the easier it is to read in the dark depths of the ocean. That's why Panerai makes em so big ya know.

My dream watch used to be a Tag when I was in college. I wanted a link bracelet one. Maybe that watch will can fulfill my college dream (watch dream, not the multiple sorority sister one).

I did not know that. That does make sense though. I remember a discussion on the old board about king's AP royal oak with the 2836 being slightly thicker than River's which uses the 2824. It all makes sense now.

What an excellent review. I don't have any Tag's in my collection, but have been thinking about it. Tag Heuer was the college guys dream watch when I was in school. I'm still not convinced that the new asian valjoux is a solid movement. I'm thinking about one of the eta reps. Does anyone know what base movement then gen link models use?

I think that the 2824 is a better movement. It's used in higher end watches as compared to the 2836. I noticed that a 2824 version offered by one of our dealers has a plastic movement holder while the dealer with the 2836 shows it with a metal movement holder. A metal holder is definetly nicer than the plastic holder. So I guess they both have their good and bad points. So, what are your priorities?

This is why I'll never buy an asian 7750. I want my watches to last a while.

I had the urge to pimp my watch after having it on a black crocodile strap with a deployant previously. I just got this bracelet from Josh. With the bracelet on, the watch feels like a deadly weapon. It's a huge chunk of heavy metal. I've seen a few Chicago Bears players around town wearing Panerai's. They always had it on the bracelet. Now I just need to get 20 inch spinners for my car and some bitches. I've had the watch relumed by The Zigmeister. Other than that, I have no further plans of cyclops, crowns, or new crown guards.

I'll be happy to get a regular overseas without the cloverleaf maltese cross and not correctly shaped date window.

I bought the chanel j12 and patek 24 from River for my wife. I highly recommend them. The j12 is her daily watch.

The watch looks ok but the name is horrible.
