  1. Josh, I'm not trashing you or Andrew, in fact, I have a great amount of respect for both of you and one day will probably do business with you. My only point was that Ruby scooped both you and Andrew on this particular watch, and offered it here at an amazing price. I think you and Andrew will admit that $220 shipped for the latest version of this watch was an amazing deal! Ruby's only problem was that she lacks payment options. It seems Moneybrokers doesn't work for American customers, and WU is too expensive in some states. I've found that sending cash works, if the dealer is open to it, but you can't be in a hurry for your watch. Talk to your dealer for more options.
  2. It's funny how josh and Andrew were quick to trash this watch as a piece of [censored] 19000 bph from a shitty factory they didn't use. As soon as it was confirmed that this was in fact the latest 28k version, the tune changed, "this is the same watch we've been selling for months, we just didn't tell anybody". Give your heads a shake guys, Ruby was the first to have this watch, and she offered it here at a price that josh and andrew will never offer ($220) shipped and guaranteed! This was a great deal, if you missed it, too bad! Don't try and tell me this is what josh and andrew offer, because its not!
  3. Remember the time difference. RWG was down for most of the morning, so you may have to wait till tomorrow for a reply. Good idea to keep the wife happy, order a piece of jewelry! I never even thought of that.
  4. Ruby has really stepped up to the plate here guys. No disrespect to Josh or Andrew, but this thread is about her, and the deal was put on the table by her. Lets do what right and make it worth her while.
  5. I have not heard anything but good things about Ruby. I really don't expect to hear any negatives either, she seems to have a positive attitude!
  6. I use my kids rubber bath toy! Just make sure you remove the bracelet from one side so you can get some leverage. You can also use rubber dishwashing gloves. BTW, in case you didn't realize, the back DOESN'T PRY OFF. It actually screws into the body of the watch. Honestly though, if you are trying to pry the back off with a screwdriver, it's probably better that you don't get it open!
  7. I recieved a PM from Ruby this morning. Although she would love to see an organized buying effort, I think she realizes that doing this would require a lot of effort and trust on one member. She has graciously offered her $220 offer til Monday. email her at goldmedal88@126.com and tell her Andreww sent you! So get them while you can, you won't find a deal like this for some time, if ever.
  8. Ruby will not let you down. Finally, a dealer who seems to care!
  9. Agreed pug the white is beautiful! The black one however is the "poster child" for breitling, and is a must have. The two watches are so different, I could see having both in my collection!
  10. I believe you have the white dial version, and the piepans have never been in question on that model. Its the black and blue model that seem to be lacking.
  11. I've got this "fantasy" that is based on the chronomatic case. Although the guts are from a navitimer, I love the size and weight of this watch!
  12. atta boy hk45ca! I always took off the SS bands and replaced with aftermarket leather. When I got my Navi I fell in love with the SS. I still wear leather because de bracelet gets scuffed on my desk, but I through the SS on for special occasions! BTW, I cant tellyou how much I like the BOB strap
  13. Since Ruby mentioned me I'll chime in. I've been intently following the information that has been flowing in on this watch since day one, and although details have been sketchy at times, I've seen enough to make the observation that these are the best representations of the A23322 Navitimer we've seen yet. • The movement. Although we've had no confirmation, I'm almost positive this is the 28k movement. No need to mention the benefits of that, search The Zigmeisters forum. • Date font, although not identical, is much more believable than previous versions. • Date window, again is not as big as the gen, but much closer, now features mitered edges. • Subdials are now recessed like the gen. From the photographs I've seen, the white version seems far better than the black or blue for the following reasons; • The mitering of the date window is cleaner and more accurate. The edges on the coloured versions seem a bit sloppy. • The subdials appear to be perfect. Recessed and piepanned perfectly. I've observed little or no piepan effect on the colored versions. If there is a piepan effect, it is not as much as the gen or the white version. For those who want to know the flaws (I'm not knocking the watch here, just being objective) • The numbers on the bezel ring don't come close enough to the crystal (same as all versions) • Date window is slightly smaller than gen (better than any other version though) • Date wheel is still too deep (as long as the modified 7750 is used, thats the way its going to be) • Piepans on the coloured versions are too flat or non existent (still the best subdials yet) • Hands may be a little fat (I've never noticed, but another member pointed this out. I don't think anyone will notice) • Date font, although much closer, is wrong. Also, on the gen, single digit dates are horizontal in the window and double digit dates are vertical. Buying Advice All three versions are the best we've seen, and I cant see them getting any better for some time, but the white is definately slightly more accurate. At $220 shipped, this is the bargain of a lifetime so, if you have been thinking about a Navitimer, jump on it! Buy with the SS strap, not the leather. The SS band is gorgeous and very accurate. The leather straps are cheap (as on most reps) and are a dead giveaway IMHO. Get a BOB Navitimer strap, very close to the gen leather strap in thickness, stitching and quality. Also, no need to have doubts about Ruby, feedback at RWI has been nothing but positive. She seems to go that extra mile for her customers. PS, It's tax time here Ruby, hopefully in a month or so when I've got some spare cash you will extend me this offer!
  14. I dont think we should point out flaws, he'll have to live with them! Nice watch!
  15. Hats off to you Andrew, glad all is well in the world! BTW, you can send me efren's watch if he doesn't want it!
  16. My only probs with this watch was that the ticks on the bezel don't go all the way to the bottom. This leaves a noticeable gap between the dial. Also, the very bad logo on the dial screams fake. Hopefully the two issues will be corrected on future versions, cause for a first issue this is a very nice watch. I've been hunting for an oversized Navi for a long time!
  17. Come on cwai, you mean to tell us you "changed your order" not "cancelled your order" out of principal? Give your head a shake!
  18. TTK I love your posts my friend, when you get on a roll it truly makes my day. These guys may cry like little girls about it but almost 20 pages of posts in little over a day shows me that these same whiners are interested in what you have to say. or Maybe maybe these guys are just trying to match wits with the master! Keep it up, if nothing else i'm entertained.
  19. Thank you The Zigmeister, enjoy your holiday!
  20. I'll take your expert word for this, but I thought the genuine Navitimer dial would work with the rep. If so wouldn't the date window be off?
  21. Thanks for the advice Zig! One question though, Have you seen 7750 failures (non-serviced of course) decline over the past few years? and Are the unmodified (non-Daytona) versions actually more reliable?
