  1. Thats the stopwatch hand. Doesn't move till you hit the top button.
  2. Looks awesome! No gap between sliderule and dial. Breitling logo is proper. Caseback is accurate. Crystal is better. Lots of improvements on this one!
  3. Thats the funniest thing I've seen in a long time!
  4. This isn't the most accurate Navi around. I picked this up in exchange for another watch that died on me, and this was the only thing that struck my eye. I would not normally have picked a blue watch but this one had a very noticeable blue AR coating that attracted me to it. The blue with white stitched strap is aftermarket, as this one came with a decent SS bracelet. Alas, I'll probably sell this one soon as it really isn't getting any wrist action since I got my 7750 Navitimer.
  5. At the moment, this. Who knows what I'll put on when I get home!
  6. He said it came loose, he realigned it when he fixed it.
  7. The black triangle on the bezel still doesn't have the orange keyline around it.
  8. Is the bezel insert simply glued down? TTK has said that its a real pain to re-align these.
  9. I decided to give my Navitimer a new look for autumn! I've always liked the combination of the black face with the honey brown strap. I think I'll be getting a Bob strap in this color soon!
  10. I picked this up at The Bombay Company for $59 Canadian (about 50 U.S.)
  11. It would be nice to see a decent rep of this watch. Of course the second hand being at 3:00 presents a problem!
  12. My Navi rep is coated inside only and I can tell you the blue tint would definitely disappear. I can only explain it like this. When a light source is reflected on the crystal, there is actually two reflections. One on the outside and one on the inside. The inside reflection is always blue, but the outside reflection is white because it is on top. What you end up with is a white circle with a blue halo. Try polishing with a lens cloth and breathing on the glass. I wear Vaurnet sunglasses wich are heavily coated. Any oils on them cause them to look discolored. Polishing them up makes them look like new again!
  13. My brother recently killed himself. I find your comments thoughtless and rude. Very American.
  14. I've read this thread and am a little confused. Can't you buy a knife (not as nice as Neil's, but every bit as dangerous) at your local Wal-Mart, sporting goods store, hardware store, or just about any store on the planet? If I wanted to stab someone, there's probably a dozen good tools in my very own kitchen. I remember getting steak knives from my gas station with every fill-up. As Neil pointed out, knives are designed with the intention of being used for useful purposes, while guns are designed for the sole purpose of killing. Someone told me the other day that Business Depot has stopped selling box cutters because of 911. This seems to be just as stupid.
  15. Sounds like a problem I've had in the past, and was easily fixed. In my case it was just that the crown itself had just come unscrewed from the stem. I just removed the crown and stem, and used a pair of tweezers to tighten it up. Hope this helps!
  16. Basically stay away from any 7750 with seconds at six, or with GMT.
  17. I guess there are too many complications to do it up right. It actually uses a Lemania movement, not automatic. The date, day, moon phase, month and leap year window are all added complications.
  18. Even though it a beautiful piece, it shows how far we have come in 3 years!
  19. This one is 3 or 4 years old but has always been one of my favorites. Not very accurate as compared to the $100,000 gen which was made of platinum. The rep has faux chronos that are adjusted via 4 separate pushers, two on each side of the case. The caseback pops open with a 5th pusher and reveals a nice work of art (decorated movement) and a beautiful painting too! Thought you might enjoy a good look at this piece! Here is the gen
  20. LOL, it makes me laugh every time someone tells me my watch is busted cause they don't see the second hand moving. A stationary second hand is the sign of a good watch. Let it be young Jedi.
  21. I tried this baby on at the AD yesterday and was quite impressed. I'm not one for four sided watches, but this one really impressed me. It looks big, but doesn't feel big. I'd like to see the buckle on the rep, the gen buckle is quite impressive.
  22. Just tried and its downloading fine here. Give it another try!
