  1. Very well put Pug! Can you win a second POM?
  2. Although this is likely the greatest logo in the history of mankind, I must exclude it from the competition. PT invited me over for an "exclusive" photo session, an "unfair edge" in my honest opinion. Behold the beauty that is PT!
  3. You know, I usually don't participate in contests like this because I feel that the client always ends up the winner. He gets the input and hard work of many designers and only pays one. But, I like PT, as I like all the dealers, and people here. I've done work for a couple of members "free of charge", as I like to contribute to our community. Its also fun to create art for a subject that I am passionate about. I just want to say that every single submission that I have seen shows great promise. With a little tweaking, PT could use any of them. Congratulations on a job well done guys!
  4. Just did some tweaking. Don't mind me, I'm a bit of a perfectionist... Here is the static version. No motion, but you get a clearer image at about 1/3 the size...
  5. Its Peart btw! You really have to have something special to stand out as a drummer. IMHO there haven't been any real standouts since Peart, Bonham, Moon, Collins, and Bruffard. Man, the 70's was a good time for music!
  6. Currently regulating all my watches. This one is being a little stubborn, so I may be wearing it for a while. (Got it to +2 seconds per day)
  7. BTW, I really think Breitling have a winner here. I think this could be the finest looking watch in their catalogue.
  8. I believe he got this in Australia. I have not seen this one in Canada or on the Breitling website. That makes this the "world premiere".
  9. May be worth looking in to then. I like the idea of having "the other" moon watch.
  10. is the strap gen? I haven't seen a rep of the rubber strap yet.
  11. I'm looking for a new project and this caught my eye today. Its a Waltham chronograph with subs a 3 & 9. What's the story on these watches and what would be a good price?
  12. I would suggest that you pick up an older version Navitimer. They come up for sale from time to time and go for pretty cheap. This will allow you to do an easy transplant of the swiss movement. (This is for the 6-9-12 version) There is no 3-6-9 swiss 7750. They use a 7753, which is a completely different beast. To transplant a 7753, you will need an older 21k rep, a swiss 7753 movement, a genuine dial, and a lot of patience. The gen dial is slightly bigger than the rep, and will have to be ground down to fit the case. Then its a straight swap. Hope this helps!
  13. TTK, my deepest condolences for you and your family. I know how hard times like this can be. Take care mate, and take the time you need.
  14. Interesting. I had always thought that strap was leather. It seems to be the rarest of all of them, I've never even seen one in person. Looks brilliant though.
  15. Can you show some more of the strap? Its rubber right? Is there leather on the inside?
  16. Rep. The strap on it is based on the gen omega strap which is in fact rubber. As I can se the leather backing on yours, I would have to say it is a rep.
  17. Thanks! I actually like it this way better. Its just my need for authenticity always gets the better of me.
  18. Thinking I would never be able to find replacements for my trashed blue ones, I refinished them in gold. Not a day after this mod was complete I got a PM from Josh alerting me that he had located a set of new blue hands and they were on the way. I thought I'd share some nice pics of what I think is a beautiful mod before this baby goes back to blue!
  19. Awesome to see a lady wearing one of these beauties!
  20. Picked this one up off a member at RWI over the weekend. Great guy, wish I had more time to talk with him! This is the second generation 42mm version with swiss movement. Its in excellent shape and seems to be keeping time nicely!
