Oka guys ... called as realised its not customs but normal post ... its regarding me signing document i never recived a package from the sender ... so he can claim insurance ! thats all ... looks like sender used on adress my name + LAZARINI ... anyway she said as a claim came lost package i need to sign of i never recived it also she told me that its not there as they checked ... sheeeesh i must say i got scared for a minute ... regards laz

So i come to work today . and there is a white card from the post office invitig me to come by to room 309 on 3rd floor ... regarding a shippment from USA ! on the adress they wrote "my name " , lazarini "my adress .... i can only assume that they got lazarini on the note that was probably inside the package ... there for they had to open it ! What now how can i play that , all advice appriciated . regards laz

hey D, as far as i know they are not the watch is unmodded ... all do i must admit they look damn close to the gen 501b . They are for sure completely difrent then the ones that came on 1680 ... regards laz

Hi all, this is what came yesterday in the email with my modded 1680 from tribal ... Its new and fresh , un-modded , out of the box ... MBW 1665 DRSD ... i have picked this-one from a member of this forum "wave". Transaction was flawless he is a great guy ! I originaly wanted a "Great White" Dweller , but this one was available ... when we already struck the deal i came back to him and he proposed he send me an additional GW dial with the 1665 , i was game Im werry happy with my purchase the watch came with a slow beat eta movement witch is great for this vintage pieces ... im still quite a noob but i noticed that on 1665 crown is much more centered or even dead centered compared to some my other subs i will also switch the DRSD dial with GW dial (on the last small picture taken yesterday) and get what i was after for Now will i send it for mods ? You bet ure (putt any word u like in here ) i will I mean whats the purpose of geting an MBW and not trying to perfect it Now need to save up ... in the meantime enjoy the pics . Regards Laz

Hi All thx for ure comments and warm replyes ... @ freddy333 this baby is mine u misread the thread a bit but no harm done I wanna add a comment that i think Stephane wrote already in his 16610 mbw pictorial . People ask me "is it worth it" is the watch really so different ... i mean its hard to comment on this as it really depends of person in question , dont get me wrong the work that Tribal did is supreme and to me watch came back as completely somethin else then before but somone woud be quick to say that the watch aint so different after all . My answer is this : If u love the sub for what it is and ure stickler for perfectionism and wanna push the limits to get ure watch looking more autentic GO FOR IT ! If u have the extra cash rollin in ure pocket and can afford it u will be happy ... If not , then think about it a bit more in order not to regret the investment latter , but even if ull do u will not have hard time to resell ure piece , as this kinda watches are always on demand by true rolex vintage fan-boys thx again to all , kind regards Laz

Hello dear RWG members. Manny of you remeber the MBW 1680 i recived as a birthday gift, if not the topic can be seen here : http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=40261 Watch was purchased from felow member "manuel" and came with preinstaled genuine tropic 127 hen i recived it . So what then ... inspired by the posts of moded watches i approached Stephane with questions who can mod it for me without sending the watch outside the EU ... as this watch has a specialplace in my hart due to how i recived it i did not want to risk customs problems and loosing it ... Stephane gave me a couple of names and his feedback so the PMs were sent ... Tribal responded and soon enough we exchanged a bunch of mails resulting me sending the watch to him . Just as a note here i had no idea what has to be done ... the price scale ... and time to make the work. All my questions were answered to smallest details and we agreed on 2 sesion job . Session 1 : The Metal work Session 2 : The Visual work That way i coud also save up money bettwen the modds to be able to fund this adventure ... dates were set first part begining august , second part mid september ... After the watch was already recived and the work started , i rethinked my strategy and decided tu pull the funds towards completion on the first date. I must admit i thought it will be not possible as we just moved to new appartment and had some other expences that came unpredicted and at wrong time ... but we all know that if u really want something u can make it happen ... i had to say no to a few things in order to get this done but boy was it worth it ! During the whole process i recived not one but several updates from Tribal how he is progressing with the work ... and i dont mean ( hi i installed the crown kinda updates ) but pictorials of the work done so i coud literary se this baby transform on a week to week basics while it was worked on . This kinda "customer service" u wont get anywere im sure of Jada jada jada ... i hear a few of u moaning already ... oka ill stop and let the pics talk Tribalization Menu a la card : CG's reshaped in and outside Installed Gen Tube and crown Drilled Lugholes Reshaped satin and polished the case. Relumed the Dial installed Gen Insert fitted Gen Sprinbars Installed Gen.Endlinks 501B Once again i wanna thank my lovely GF , Manuel , Stephane and for most Tribal for reciving this watch and seeing it transform to what it is now ... .... a piece of heaven to me

UK Package : ... brand new unmodded MBW 1665 DRSD with extra Great White Dial (left in picture) FRAGILE marked , brick looking package "Tribalized" MBW 1680 with long list of upgrades/mods (right in picture) Im a happy camper today as u can imaggine PS ... latter when from work i will put up a pictorial of the 1680 with list of work done , needless to say that watch just looks fenomenal ! Oka here it goes my 2 cents about this , i will not judge how the watch compares to the gen. as im not an expert for that maybe some other members can chime in on that ... What i will say comes from my own experience ... I recently puchased an asian 21 tt sub with gold serti dial ... I wore it a few days and then stored it in my watchbox ... sole reason for that is i just cant pull it off and the constant beeing center of attention bugs me I dont have the confidence, the dress style, or i move in this kinda circless ... so the obvious opinion is that its a replica ... Maybe it woud be easyer to do it where noone knows me and i might give that a try but other then that the sole idea of the things mentioned above discurages me to wear that . If ure werry self confident then this coud possibly fly and presuming u dont bump in a rolex expert ... i mean be prepared that people will be staring at ure wrist much more then wearing any SS watch ... Regarding Stephane ... he does need to make anything right ... the postoffice handeled the package bad and thats not in his domain to cover (i wrote my thoughts on that under members review) from my side things were handeled correctly from his side ... so the fix and bad luck with the watchsmith are mine responsability Anyway he offered all kinda solutions witch i kindly turned down (conpensation , reinburment options etc) all do ill maybe hold him for the mooneybookes useage for purchasing the dial and afcourse return the money via paypal regards laz regards laz

Thx for the reply ... as i said this watch will shine again ... belive me Im a firm beliver in taking things easy i coud of jumped on the guy and call him names , demanded this and that but at the end u know it makes no sense so why even bother . Stephane ... u were so helpfull throug all this ... and wanna thank you again for all ure solutions offered and support in the matter ure gent above gents ! Regarding Andrew i did not do any buisness with him so i cant play that card im afraid ... Ill see if someone on the boards by any chance have a spare that he coud miss if not i already talked with Trevor and he said he can get me same dial for 30usd shipped ... sounds resonable but he dont take paypal so need to search somewere else or open a moneybookers account ...
