Hi all, mezz i replyed to u on rwi if u did not see it here it is : Im not sure about the riveted bracelet on a 1680 ... maybe if u like the look of it, still my choice would be a 93150 bracelet with 580 ends is the best and more correct choice of the 2 ... that said the gen. 580 ends just did not fit my mbw 1680 and eneded up going with 93150 bracelet on gen. 501B links : This was done by Tribal for me as Stephane said he is one of the guys that stock the parts needed for the job U can shoot a PM to him im sure he will be kind enough to give u estimate on the parts and work . Hi . pugs advice and pics are top notch explanation ... also i agre waht doc has mentioned above ... My 2 cents for what is worth ... i had both UPO and 217 destro (leftie brother to 127) and i found both watches to be to big for me ... let me mention that i have 18cm wrist . IN the upo case i must say it was maybe not the size of the diameter but just how the watch sit on my wrist ... it was never in one place one way i coud manage that is to size it tight ... but found that uncofortable and the other was loose but then it was all ower the place due to also the huge weight of it ... finally it started to get less wrist time in the meantime got the sfso witch is heavy but still smaller and i knew i had to let it go ... 217 destro is eve bigger watch and i mean bigger it was looking like picture nr3 that pug draw ... i loved that watch but the share size keept it in watchbox again and even i did not wanna seel it i eventualy let it go Now i remeber when i was home visiting my parents in may my dad wore the 217 one day to shopping man that looked awsome (he has 21/22 cm wrist ) ! To conclude it comes down in the end is ahgain the feelin u have wearing this pieces if u dont mind wearig a big watch then great go ahead and do it regards laz

Well yea ... i must say i did not tuch it in any way that i know and after 2 weeks starts to show signs of minimal scratches ... only visible in some certain angle and under artificial light ... all do im sure it can be avoided and to tell u the trouth im fine with it as it gives the watch caracter ... after all its a vintage piece ... u probably read all kinda vintage metods that members applyed to dials , cases etc on this boards ... it depends on what ure after ... me personaly wanna wear it of and let it get normal wear markes on its own time ... regards laz

I cant really answer the accurancy question ... but i know some mebers will have a reply on that ... repaustria is a good bet 1665 case what i have read on here is the DRSD dial that i have the red font colour if off maybe also something else that why when i purchased mine i opted for additionla Grear White dial that ill be puttin in place of the DRSD dial also i must say i prefer the all white font on gw ... regards laz

hi achard . well this is the ongoing circle question ... u have a 1680 fan club and the 1665 fan club ... both watches are sweet but deffinetly different ... The 1680 apears smaller all do diameter is same, but the case of the 1665 is clearly thicker and there fore visualy the 1665 apears bigger on wrist as its sits higher than the 1680 ... Now me personaly prefer the 1680 and main reson for it is probably the mag. on the date window and the shape of the 127 ... there is something about it that draws me more towards the 1680 ... That said the 1680 i have is heavy modded where the 1665 i just recived a week back and is still stock ... i must say its growing on me as i write this and im wearing it now ... Nedless to say both of them are great looking pieces and are my 2 prize possesions in my collection . Here u can see a comparison shot of the modded 1680 and the stock 1665 ... regards laz

Hey all As my SFSO got serviced and watertested to 10atm i used our trip to the lake today to give it a bit of a real life test ... i have to say it passed just fine ... We just returned and i said why not share this great day with you all So here we are just ound 100m from the place we moved to now, waiting for the tram to take us to the lake : Gear packed up and ready to go ... SFSO - check ,hat for sun protection - check , set of badbington rackets - check , roll for the towell - check , gadgets ,ipod , smarthphone , digital cam - checked ... loks like all is there , lets go then ... Arrived in 20 minutes ... sun is up ... looks like a nice day ... The scenery is nice here guys ... take my word for it ... or even better here are 3 examples Oka lets move on to the SFSO here are some pictures of mine attached on gen rubber band ... if u still dont have urse .. go get one Before the water some dry shoots Here relaxing on my GF legs hehe ... Now lets take it for a bath shall we Oka lets go back and see what my dear is up to As figured ... here favorite activity relaxing near watter ... i leave her enjoy the sun and have myself a quick snack ... what u see below is a glas of Kofola (Slovak coca cola and Langos ( its kind of pizza crusty baked bread with garlick and spices taste ) simple but delicious ... if any Slovak Or CZ people around they know what im talking about I take a strole to the other side of the lake to check out artificial windsurfing ... looks great i might add. too bad i did not give it a go : Oke then ... went back to see where M. is and to take her for an icecream me well ill have a cold beer thank you wery much and use this opportunity to check on u guys to see what u have been up to Well thats all folks as buggs bunny use to say hope u enjoyed the pics as much i have enjoyed taking them ... Stephane , thx for this great pictorial comparison a great addition to the boards again ! Pls pin it to ure signature ... thx @ cableguy ure right i detached the bracelet to fit the nato bond on my noob some time ago ... so after a few weeks i said to myself lets swith it back ... one one side the bracelet pins jumped in without any ishues bu on the other part one side of the pin went in but the other one just would not ! i struggled for about 30 minutes and then gave up ... i took it to a watchmaker and even he spend 30 minutes to squeze it in ... he told me it was a painfull proces ... i belive u might be lucky if u find one that fits strait in there without bending the bar a bit ... laz
