  1. For anyone who asks what your Tattoos will look like when you get older - they are going to look as awesome as they looked when you were younger
  2. This is great! The only advice I can give is - Go big or Go home the artist will tell you the same thing. You'll have to show us pics when it's done. Unless it's on your junk, if it's on your junk I'll just take your word for it.
  3. I'll stick with the Planet Ocean theme. My LMPO showed up late yesterday - took approximately 17hours to size the bracelet
  4. Planet Ocean today - still waiting for my Liquid Metal PO to arrive
  5. Also, when the movement is out of the case, everything works great. It's just when there is the restriction of the tube that it won't go all the way in.
  6. I swapped the movement with an a2836 but they were both 2836 with dial feet clamps
  7. Having the same problem with mine, I messed up the keyless works while trying to fix this and swapped the movement. The stem is too short for the case/the crown spring compresses too far to completely engage the stem in the winding position. I have extended the stem as far as I can and it's just not enough. I think the watch needs a longer stem. I am on the lookout for a long version of the 2836 stem... if that exists. I really like my Ceramic PO and hate not being able to wear it.
  8. I think these are still available. The rep that is available is a 3573 (sapphire sandwich) but it has some pretty big tells, if this is a concern of yours. from a distance it looks okay but it's pretty easy to call out from that same distance if you are aware of the flaws that it has. Not that I wouldn't buy one, just so you know though, it's not a very accurate replica. p.s. Speedmasters look great on a black leather strap!
  9. I agree with GenTLe on the Seamaster Professional with ceramic bezel. I have this watch and it is absolutely stunning! Among the best reps ever made and a piece which I am proud to have in my collection.
  10. I placed an oder with Toro and he shipped it out same day. Ordered - 6am, QC - 10am, Shipped - 1pm!!! Expecting it sometime this week hopefully but the fact that it didn't take a week just to get QC pics is certainly saving me some time here.
  11. Wearing Ceramic PO today, placed order for Liquid Metal Planet Ocean this morning
  12. After messing with it for two days swapping the movement, my 8500 Planet Ocean is back on my wrist for the first time in 12 months!
  13. I'm going to keep rolling with the Carreras, CV2010 today
  14. Panerai on a pretty chill Saturday.
  15. Carrera Day Date - made for the weekend
  16. 1300pound would be close to $2200USD, for that you should be able to do okay, maybe gray market or used would be an option too. Personally, I would avoid that F1 for a man's watch, the ladies F1 are nice but the men's tend to look a little adolescent/cheap. For around $2000 you can pick up an Aquaracer 500m, definitely a 300m for that price and those are the Automatic models. Automatic is definitely the route I would go but there are some nice Quartz models in the Aquaracer line too. This is my Aquaracer 500m with the ceramic bezel - in my opinion, this is the pinnacle of the Aquaracer line including past models, the design is conservative yet unique enough to set it apart from other premium divers. This is the 300m model, you will save a couple hundred dollars with something like this and it's also a very nice watch. If you want to move into the Carrera range you will be pushing the price up a little bit but you should still be able to pick up a base model in your price range. The Cal. 5 Carrera (same movement as the Aquaracers above) should run right around/above the $2000 mark but the Carrera sits a little higher within the TAG Heuer collection. Carrera Cal. 5 If you can swing a couple hundred extra dollars, The Cal. 8 GMT is a stunner and a little bit of a special watch Another option is a Cal. 5 Link model, this too should be attainable, well within $2000, also a much nicer and more classic design than anything from the F1 line. I hope this helps you in making a decision. If you have any more questions or if you were looking for something different all together, let me know and I'll take another quick look. Good luck.
  17. Love that Tudor Marti! Carrera still pulling all the wrist time these days
