Shipping issues from China, getting tougher!
Mike on a bike replied to Mike on a bike's topic in General Discussion
You have a lot to learn my friend , vetted means you get a watch as described and if seized they will send another. Movements made in a Chinese factory w/ questionable QC do not travel well and dealers will usually fix or replace most guys just send to their watch smith here for a service if movement gets screwed up in shipping. (yes they pay for it themselves do not think about sending dealer a bill) There are no money back guarantees they are not Amazon or Macy"s , you are buying illegal goes from a guy who if he gets caught most likely gets thrown in jail forever or shot , keep some perspective in regard to your expectations. -
Capice in my experience on deals not just my own as you can imagine regular payment w/ fees used more than gift. I would postulate that most buyers use regular PP as otherwise they have no recourse if item never ships or they get a hockey puck in the box.

This is gone into pretty thoroughly here:
-
Good, now try not to blow the extra money on watches ! LOL

I would think it's the paint but also the process of application that it is most likely not cost effective to replicate exactly. Keep in mind there good enough for most people and 90% of the public would not notice that slight something off in the green that drives us crazy. So if you are the rep factory it's good enough from a cost ratio perspective and of course as you say Indy if they nail it no need for anyone to get the latest V whatever !

Cornerstone, yes sapphire w AR but no blue just like it's not there. Capice w/ no bezel to speak of all dial it wears larger than the numbers would suggest, I will try to get a decent pic on my 8.35 inch wrist so you guys can see scale.
-
40.8 x 11 not small just not overstated, less is sometimes more.
-
Well guys watch in yesterday was able to get it on and closed but to tight on my wrist, what else is new! I did however foresee this and had two extra links shipped w/ the watch. Of course they ain't for free 50 bucks a piece but other sellers wanted 100 or more so Gnomon Watch was not ripping me off like others were trying to. Good outfit: http://www.gnomonwatches.com/ Now we all know my pics suck so it looks like the vid no sense me making it look terrible!! As far as fit finish feel on all excellent , light just the right size and what crystal it not there.......as to the dial well it's stunning to say the least.

To echo my friends I'd stay away from the water w/ any rep especially a chrono that is asking for trouble big time. I carry a gen w/ at least a 200meter ISO diver rating for my water activities on holiday, you can get a Seiko for cheap that is rated as such and it will most likely run forever or go Citizen even cheaper same rating. https://www.amazon.com/Citizen-Eco-Drive-Promaster-Diver-BN0150-28E/dp/B016R90VBK/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_241_lp_tr_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=33ZJ6H7NR2VAA76YHDFN A very very good watch for the $!

The Sinn http://www.watchbuys.com/store/pc/Sinn-856-A-B-Tegimented-on-Bracelet-18p4324.htm Tudor: https://www.tudorwatch.com/watches/new-black-bay-fifty-eight/m79030n-0001 this one sill on the buy list funds allowing....................... & https://www.tudorwatch.com/watches/new-1926/m91650-0002 looked at many more but these were in the final running except for the Tudor 58 which was wanted but way over budget. Keep in mind the Seiko about 1000 less that the other two and it's build quality is as good as if not better of course the Sinn is a tank but really not necessary for my life activities.
-
Thanks mate!
-
I have gotten some responses here , you know who you are I will be reaching out to you guys as promised in regard ASAP, thank you!

Guys we are doing a fund raiser for a member in need there are 118 of us here right now so a lot of money is not key but a lot of participation is! Think about just 5 bucks from that group would add up to over 500 dollars!! The PP is mvmsr22@gmail.com put in your form name in notes I will PM you w/ details, rather than put this out in the open. I'm sure you would rather it that way if it were you. So whatever 5-10 bucks more if you can, it all adds up.................
-
You know "G' when I looked at the prices of the others I was considering and the quality/cost ratio my choice was evident.
-
Well been going back and forth looking at everything from Tudor to Sinn and just about everything else...............Like most of you I spend my time looking at watches on line, reading reviews, watching vids on youtube all this while sitting surrounded by watches, a few I can't find most disturbing. Now as most know despite my massive wrist size I prefer smaller watches, lighter the better and the the dial on this is just stunning. So I bought yet another! Happen to be sober only one beer so kinda strange , but I digress let's look at it.............
