Well timegrapher not terrible , might settle in after wearing and yes insert hair off but as stated fixable but is the insert off or the dial look at first pic insert and rehaut engraving line up now look at dial seconds marker if that was a hair over all good. Mind the 9 O clock seems to line up .

It was not posted for sale Rolo was just sharing his build.

I agree but we are showing our age in the hobby, most denote factory/maker and if you are keeping abreast of newest models and their faults/pluses they mean something.

I have always been happy w/ my A2836's, run well never a problem and who is looking inside the case anyway, a rep watch smith perhaps. -

That would be an undertaking they all do different ones better, narrow it down to one model it gets easier. -
My friend unfortunately forums are content driven and a certain amount of critical mass let us say is needed in posts and also in revenue. In truth debates have occurred in the mod lounge on changing to a more again let us say wild west culture for years but in the end we have always come down on the side of the gentlemanly board with content in line of what you compared above. As you know for years I have run raffles to keep the lights on (we have very few VIPs) and unlike other boards are non profit (like we could ever turn one!) so we can remain the way we are but our small group need to support us other wise we go wild west or die.

Different culture it seems to works for them and sorry to say the masses love it. They had a couple of thousand guys on the other day & we a couple of hundred..................

It's a tough thing this watch obsession, do I unload them and buy one expensive gen................ No. I know a lot of guys here w/ deep pockets bought that dream gen or two or even three, they still keep buying what ever catches their fancy. In the end it's like being addicted to anything you just have to stop yourself. PS I may need an intervention!!!LOL -

As usual I have no idea around 50-60 or so I guess, they pop up everywhere. Want to here something well sort of funny my quartz pieces when they run out of power go on the need battery shelf , no they never get them they just well live there have plenty of others. I recently checked where a few were due to raffle and found two vintage Rolex pieces I did not even remember I had, pretty nice too! About 60/40 gen/rep due to 10 or so old manuals in a box by themselves in the closet but without those 50/50. I really need to cull the heard like most of you. -
Like that, Monte Carlo-ish for sure.

They do look nice I agree on that and I have more than enough wrist to carry they just don't sit right for me. Unbalanced I guess that sums it but I am bias, I wear them small my daily is 38mm TI light as a feather. 38 x 8.4 quartz by the way, with all the watches I own this gets about 80-90% of the wrist time, and I have some beauties as you know.

In 2011 they most likely were repped but as new models come out factories go with new hotter selling models and discontinue some.

Carrera 1960 not repped that I saw, smallest was this: https://puretime05.com/carrera-chronograph-blackred-dial.html Going to be tough find but if you want something to play with at 38 x 9.5 this should fit you well on the cheap. https://www.longislandwatch.com/Boccia_Mens_Quartz_Chronograph_p/3780-02.htm Ah this one works, https://www.ebay.com/p/Tag-Heuer-Carrera-Cv2113-0-Auto-39mm-Steel-Mens-Strap-Watch-Date-Chrono/1801557368 It's a 38 not a 39.
