  1. AH Woody everybody has their opinion on this now some thinking about where rep movements come from and the questionable QC well they service it as soon as they get it, now others are in the " if it ain't broke don't fix it " camp. Your call................ PS as others have stated this is a tough movement to work only a rep watch smith should be used and a damn good one at that.
  2. Well they were pretty much out in the open about it , surprised it took Rolex so long.
  3. In all likelihood you are not going to find someone you can drive to for reps.
  4. No no problems we did not take him off.
  5. There are dealer which keep UK stock and others who will ship through intermediaries to circumvent the problem. But there is no sugar coating it overall it's going to take more time to get a watch these days with more risk of seizure.
  6. Guys been talking to a dealer or two and w/ the recent trade problems between USA and China things are tightening up. Now EU was always tough UK not so much but us here in the states had it pretty easy , well those days are over at least for now. PS I am going to leave any politics out of this and so should you , we just have to deal W/ it like our brothers in the EU have for many many years.
  7. Guys do things on sales board (buy/sell) that way you have an open record and we can help you in case you get a bad buyer or seller, do via PM your on your own and technically against the rules. It's called a 'back door sale", a no no.
  8. Great work here guys!
  9. Quartz keep great time but being OCD does not the sweep bother you?
  10. LawrenceWatch , a TD here?
  11. In theory specked out to gen, let us say case size ,ability to take gen parts, in some cases an attempt to recreate the movement. Hammer it depends on your goals if you are looking to get a watch that pretty much looks the part most decedent reps can be worn and none but a watch enthusiast will now the different. As you read here you will see many threads w/ guys "modding" their reps w/ gen parts (a dial is a big plus for instance ), crowns , bezels shaving/reshaping crown guards/ cases to get it closer to gen you name it it is done . Some even get gen movements , now if not open case back who is going to know if same beat , well we do that too. So read around figure what you can live w/ in regard to money / mods if so inclined. My advice is to look at our sales section there are plenty of modded /upgraded reps at this time and decide if that is for you if not just find one you like want go to one of our dealers buy wear enjoy! Just a word guys sales threads are not a place to ask questions unless your buying, you can ask in brand specific areas or here.
  12. OK guys follow the link to our newest TD "MR TimeZone" and get a discount for supporting RWG!
  13. Yes one of those rallies where the women wear pink p*ssy hats , just the right color! ( I believe it is the same state so short ship)
  14. Indy PM me your address I'll have it sent over , yes it is in states but not w/ me.
  15. Had to get you stuffy sods out of our business!
  16. In that case just stay inside & watch TV!
  17. As for what I know of gun laws in Alaska (basically none existent ) should be easy enough to pack a handgun w/ enough punch to take one down. This should do the trick: S&W model 29 w/ the magnum load not the special for your neighborhood , yes the "Dirty Harry" of Eastwood fame piece.
  18. OK that's weird 12 midnight..................
  19. WOW! Now that's bling, I guess if your going down that road no half measures................................
  20. There goes the bank account , reps are like chips you can not have one!
  21. Well gents if you did not know the ins and outs of gaskets you do now.
  22. OK guys let's take it a step further this is RWG cc not a noob board for the latest V whatever, we build: nitril or viton gaskets? My research has led me here: " Re: Which Dive Watches Use Viton Gaskets or Seals?
