  1. Not like this? http://www.rwgforum.net/index.php?/topic/168144-IWC-White-Mark-XVI-V2-with-bold-datewheel
  2. Go for it! You can always buy morgue cheap reps and you can always sell the gen.
  3. Nice pics Nanuq. Do those carry nukes?
  4. Just giving this thread a love bump. Post WRIST SHOTS of your watches if you have a skinny wrist that is 6.5" or less. Make the pics useful by showing more of your arm to help others determine if they want to give that model a try. Also include your wrist size that day in addition to the model and diameter. IWC 3777 43mm on 6.375" wrist PS try to host your photos where they won't get removed down the road.
  5. Or get on @Sunnydale's next AR batch. I think he's on RG
  6. LOL @minuteman... Reps are the gateway drug to gens for many people. We love watches and buy gen and 'fake' The word 'rep' is part of the replica community. It is rare to find it used outside the community. @FWB uses the word rep throughout his blog. It infers he is or was part of our community. As to criminal syndicate I would think that there is probably some truth to the organized crime but it's nothing compared to the legitimized organized crime. I'm not advocating it, in fact I oppose it but let's not bring crusading into this otherwise you should be posting on clothing fora and computer fora and so on. This is about watch lovers coming together. Some cannot afford to play the gen game so this is a way to marvel at the designs up close and learn about watches.
  7. Thanks for the update linx! I hate the too blue AR on mine. I just might try this.
  8. He is super fast. I'm interested to know what he says about that pic. Pro'ly will say just ship it back. Too bad you could not see it in the QC pics
  9. Looks pretty crappy. Did you try asking Andrew?
  10. Anonimo again today That's the nicest B&R I've seen. All the others look like the old bedside travel clocks my mom had.
  11. Haha! Yup they are ridiculous nice. I had lunch at the French Laundry near Napa CA last year and snapped that pic in a room by the bathroom. TFL is in a French country house with a huge private organic garden used for ingredients across the street. Here's another pic of some spirits. For those who didn't know, TFL is consistently ranked by many different reviewers as a top 10 restaurant in the world for over a decade. "The French Laundry has recently added a spirits program, geared toward after-dinner drinks to be enjoyed with cigars and mignardises in the courtyard. The Scoop has the details, and it should go without saying that this is a high-roller's list of booze choices, with everything from 60-year-old agricole rum, to 70-year-old vintage Chartreuse. Glasses of Scotch start at $75 (for an 18-year-old Macallan in Lalique), and go up to $1,950 (for the 57-year-old, mixed vintage In Lalique III). Also, there's a 1950 Old Fitzgerald bourbon for $1,750 a glass, and a 100-year-old Queen's Silver Jubilee Cognac from Hennessey for $1,450. There are some more reasonable options, like after-dinner wines starting at $20 a glass, but then you get to the cigar menu, with the "pre-embargo Cubans" section at the rear, which includes an 1868, five-inch cigar for $595. Should you be looking to drop $10,000 on dinner, The French Laundry is happy to help you spend that sum. 12. Serious Scotch drinker there. I have my fave Macallan 18. But what do you think of this pic?
  13. I don't know that model but the rectangles are often called tank watches. Or maybe better stated tank watches are often rectangle cases
  14. I just saw Robert Redford's powerhouse performance in All is Lost. One old man stranded 1700 miles from shore in a sailboat. A man vs nature, man vs himself story. Reminded me of that Tom Hanks film Castaway. Redford was very believable, and really conveyed many complex emotions without any dialogue. The direction and production was excellent. It's been nominated so it might get an Oscar this weekend. Two thumbs up. 8.5/10 TRAILER http://m.imdb.com/title/tt2017038/
  15. Welcome to RWG newbie mate Kuvarsit is good. Never heard of the other. Stick to TDs only. I like Http://pureti.me but there are other good ones like @Torobravo and others. Cheers and hope you stay a while!
