Imo, any strap looks good on a Panerai. Its just a watch that can take it all. If you cut out a piece of cartboard and you tape it on, it still looks amazing! You got yourself a very nice strap collection! My favorite on this list is #15. It is similar to my Ted Su French Ammo. Thanks for the post!

I ordered a 3717, which is a fine watch. I just dont really like the pvd case of a Top Gun. Im having it relumed, and Im thinking of getting a German day wheel and a gen crown. Use the search function as well, plenty of 3717's and Top Guns around...

Hmmmm... Im going down the same road! 3717 lumed from Vac. I have a lot of confidence in his lume and work. However Im still in doubt to do an AR job. Is it worth the extra $$$? Oh! And Where did you get the strap?

Well I like it here because I can't afford the real deal. On RWG I have learned alot about watches. What to buy, what not to buy. All kinds of terms. Modders. Etc. I like IWC alot (among other brands) and I wanted to buy a 3714, here I figured out that the movement will 'fail' after a couple months. I also liked the 3717, but the lack of decent lume frustrated me enormously! So I ordered a 3717, having it shipped to a modder to do a relume job and Im thinking about an AR job as well. Hope it's here before Christmas... Merry Christmast to everyone!

I am about to buy a 3717 from puretime, and ask a modder to have it shipped to him to do his magic. It definitely needs to be relumed. But how is the out-of-the-box AR? Does it need a new AR? Also, I read here and there that the 12 o'clock marker is slightly misaligned, is this an easy fix? And is this even true? Thanks a bunch guys!

No I got this some time ago from a guy on Youtube. This is an older version aswell. I like it better than the new ones, because the new ones have really thick borders around the subdails...

I guess i'll just go with the rubber then (yes I'm starting to like it). And if that's too big I'll order a small (or do I need XS??) strap at an AD. They won't be asking serial numbers and stuff right??
