didnt mean to thread crap but its FLAV!!! I have been waiting patiently for some Skyland dials to make their way to the market... not sure whats taking so long... Maybe Defender can shed some light on the issue...

unfortunately nobody in the rapping community has bling'd out their skyland leaving no extra dials to be available... not to mention... the skylands size of 44mm isnt very common in the rapper community as well... do you know what im saying boyyyyyyyeeeeee

I am looking for information regarding a dial swap for a rep Navitimer... Came across an interesting gen dial and was thinking of purchasing it... However, I don't recall ever seeing anyone swap a rep for gen dial on a Navitimer... hopefully someone can shed some light on whether or not it can be done... Thanks!

dont have a fix for you but i do have the same problem with mine... i just end up leaving it alone most of the time... and when its really bad, i do a quick alignment adjustment... i dont seem to have this problem on my skyland or avnger models... only my bce... i am sure there is some sort of adjustment that can be made during a service... maybe one o four 7750 specialists can chime in...

I agree with you that the GREY dial is the more stunning dial.. but the PR dial being that far to left does throw it off... also, it seems that the date window (in most shots) is undersized... For straps, check out tourbywatches dot com he has some pretty nice straps too especially for the pilot watches out there... NOTE: however, the straps are 22/22 so you will need to source a buckle... they are NOT the 22/18 the originally come with the watch... but they are leather and 4-5mm thick... also, BOB has some like-gen strap for $60 or so... and these MIGHT accept the deployment that comes with the watch...

keep eye out for a 7751 movement... may come in handy one day... "should be" a direct swap and you will have a swiss movement in that thing... and then you won't have any problems...

Never even thought of that... i may even use MINTY FRESH flavor to make my rep "stand out"!!! i think the next time i play i will wear the skyland cuz i NEED to get that bezel off so that i can fix it from clicking both way... maybe a quick swing and pop and i can make an adjustment to the click spring inside should do the trick! LOL PP

well, you may be lucky like me and be wearing your super avenger while golfing and have the bezel pop off from the force of the perfect PAR 3 drive that you will never forget! however, now the bezel is easy to remove and i have been told that i am lucky for this... but now it sounds loose when turning it as if the rep bezel needs a shim... and yes, i stopped doing activities with watches on my wrist!!!

Ummm, what would a 51110 movement cost being that the genuine starts @ $12K? What other IWC models is that movement used in?

K, so i got my 5002... i also got a tourby strap and a bob strap coming... should be fun to wear! Now, is the tick/sweep on the second hand correct for this model???

I am not blaming ANYONE nor telling ANYONE what they should do or anything... (admins) But why cant the ADMINS of ALL forums put some pressure on the dealers?!?! i don't know, maybe create a "cartel" of their own?!?! Surely the forums influence people to buy from these "dealers"... and i know the forums don't account for 100% of their sales, but it has SOME impact... well fine... i AGREE with all of the above on all statements made about the 5002 and also agree to the upgrades needed to make a great piece... honestly, i miss the days of being able to find reps at this price point too... it seems that LATELY you cant find a decent rep worth buying under $300-$400... you have all solidified my decision in getting the 5002... UNLESS... Lani wants to sell his with that awesome strap! LOL! is Aaron a member here? OH YEAH! and who do i buy from?!?! i know most of the dealers have them, but who should it be...??? PP

With the release of the big pilot in both FUNCTIONAL and FAUX power reserve and at the same price... which is better/worse? I know I'm not going to get a 7 day reserve, but is the functional model actually better or even worth $0 price tag? - history in reps tells me, the less moving parts the better! Then they release two models 5002 and 5004... Which to choose? one missing the '9' to represent the newer dial and the other which i guess is an older model... Which one is more correct between the two? This topic may have already been beaten upon in the IWC section... but i have never wanted any other model other than a Portuguese... So, if anyone has any comments that can help me decide which one i want...? or even refer me to a thread that goes over all of my questions?? Thanks PP

so, are those two other holes the dial feet popping through the movement ring? does this mean one could use a genuine dial without cutting the feet off?!?! PP

so, that date disk must much larger/wider now?!?! is it flimsy inside the case?!?! meaning, is it consistently placed close against the date window? does that retaining ring keep it all level? So, why did they go with the smaller movement? PP

Zig, didn't you draw something up in regards to the added gears for this movement? Maybe this will shed some light on the issue at hand... I agree with you that this is all hype... However, when b16a2 gets his, wears it for a couple days, and sends it to you... LOL (kidding) we might find out if anything has indeed changed! this model has been one of my personal favs and i wish they would throw in a reliable engine... is the genuine based on the 7750?

king has the Juan Manuel 'Fangio' edition with black sub-dials on dark anthracite dial... looks badass... check it out!
