The PAM220 has been my favorite for some time now... nearly bought the genuine... it seems that case "looks" decent... lugs seem to look "sharper" than previous models but still not as sharp as the gen... i still don't understand why they cant get the case as sharp as the gen... they have no problems with other models... the lume looks a bit too green to me... (i prefer more white) but almost all PAM models seem this color to me... the Date font looks OK... It doesn't seem "as large" as the gen... of course, you can never tell in the dealer pictures... it may be fine... The Bracelet is not like gen. Way too rounded off... The gen also tapers from 24mm to 20 or 22mm?!?! it is very detailed and you can immediately see that it is gen... also, I am unsure as to whether or not the model in question is supposed to have the "quick release" or "push button" bracelet/strap changing system? I think the one i almost purchased had it... i think KING has an '8 day model' showcasing this... I am surprised they haven't rep'd the NEW bracelet... VERY simple design and not as flashy as the standard one shown... very Rolex like...

oh well... then to answer it like that... you think breitling plans on keeping a standard model like the skyland for more than 5-10 years? i think its too soon to say... seems to me, it is a trend watch... chunky, shiny, trendy, chronograph... not really holding true to the aviator heritage that breitling is... (an aviation 'tool' time piece) but then again, breitling will always = chronograph! for instance, look at the submariner... since the 50's it hasn't changed "too much" but it has definitely "evolved" and become a "classic" timepiece... vintage or modern, people will always say, "nice sub." or "is that a sub?" you could be wearing a homage "invicta" submariner and someone will still ask those questions or even think it is before seeing it up close... my opinion is that the navi is and will be breitlings classic model... at least it seems to hold the same history-like attributes as the sub... how many navi breits do you see below in this vintage breit collection?

not against making the inside look pretty, but you should worry more about the slanted bezel! dead giveaway! now, if the 'better looking' rotor is quieter, then i totally understand!!!

its a v2... but that dot at 3 o'clock is preeeetty tight against that date window... just gave her a light cape cod bath and i have to say, this is without a doubt my favorite rep of all time... i had a gen chrono avenger and i used to miss it... definitely don't anymore... ummm, j/k!! i miss all the watches i have let go... LOL

I guess the part that this 'treatment' is cheaper than a new dial is what's really appealing! The breit & rollie dials have been killing me lately... (me = bank acct)

unfortunately, this is the only macro shot i got... i sent gen lume pics to the person who did this, unfortunately, it looks like he may not have made the dots FLAT enough... i am kinda in a dilemma to say something or not?!?! whatcha think?

Its not not a matter of losing anything... its a matter of wanting an unbroken piece of metal on the bracelet... and i don't think that's asking too much?!?! I wouldn't have bought the damn thing if the seller had disclosed his/her f-up... but now i am this situation and i need to make it good again...

Hey guys... I bought a Euromariner from a member who didn't disclose some things and i am in a pickle for parts... Looks like an SEL had come apart in two... anyone know where to get one of these without having to purchase a whole bracelet? might someone have a half bracelet they don't need? I have already taken off the bad SEL! never knew it was so easy!! Also, looks like the person lost the small click spring and sent me one from a CH sub (large octagon style) and i have attempted to make a couple, but still not as nice as the stock one... anyone got anything lying around? Thanks guys! PP

This may work with Andrew (TT) as you will most likely purchase multiple watches for the exchange of this one...

I would send it back claiming that it is not a Genuine Swiss ETA!!! or Claim that this is NOT an 'Ultimate' version by any means!!! Nothing on the watch resembles the genuine article nor is there anything ULTIMATE about it... I would ask him to send it back and get all of the "lite" models that "sub16610" is talking about above... at least those resemble the gen in some manner!!! EDIT: I would also press on you to READ and LEARN from this forum! Its here as tool to help you. take advantage of it, but mostly give back! The good thing is, we have ALL done what you have done... i have plenty of reps that i bought when i should have just done some research and/or waited for the next model... I have also bought almost every "new" submariner model there is hoping that one day, i can find something i wear more than my gen... (mostly to keep it looking good) PP

I have my Skyland at Everest right now... it has been there for a month now... don't expect it to be a quick turnaround as Kent is backed up and takes on 5 projects at a time... i will post pics as soon as it has arrived... and you can be the judge!
