If you keep having a simialr issue with the TD might you want to try a different TD?
Sending back watches is as most of us know something of a minefield!
Most experienced buyers believe they will have to have the movement serviced to ensure smooth running and depending where you are the costs are usually reasonable to ensure you've got a good looking and working watch.

I have had quite a few 5002 and 5004's and there are a few differences on quality etc. Th emain issue with these can be the crown stripping the thread so always be careful when winding after adjusting time etc. The other annoying thing is teh rotor is very noisy.
The attached is one of my slightly modded 5002's in as much that I fix the rotor so that teh watch is a mnaula wind only (good for 48 hrs) and I carefully lube the crown thread so that she winds on and off nicely. Finally fit a stunning strap from Peter which finishes it off and gives her the gen look.
