New River Swiss Mille Metri for me today AJ

I hope you're all having a great start to the weekend, mine has kicked off really well as my new Swiss River Mille Metri arrived this morning and I love it, the simplicity of the dial, the almost Industrial style and proportions of the case sit really well for me on my 8 inch plus wrist. I am reliably informed that these babies are waterproof to a great depth and when my new Coramid yellow and black strap arrive it will look and perform excellently I am sure. Well for my input, I have had the FC Peking to Paris and the Oris Diver and here's my views. The FC is a truly beautiful watch, quite rare and feels great, a tad small for me personally but i have 8 inch plus wrists. The Oris diver is indeed a great watch also and more correct size wise for me, I had it on rubber however it never really felt special, not as special as the FC. Don't know about the other one. When you say 24mm buckle, do you mean deployant or Tang type? The Tang type are regularly in the M2M sales however I do not think a 24mm deployant is made as most are 22mm. Regards AJ

Fancied having the Bronzo brushed last night so spent less than 30 mins and here she is again, what a flexible watch, so many looks and finishes, she's a must have. AJ

I played with a cloth and a little very fine polish this afternoon on the Bronzo to polish the edges a tad, this watch is so magnificent and is several watches in one due to the ability to change its appearance radically depending on your mood AJ

Thanks Hambone In truth there's about $2k in the Fiddy, however its a real piece with gen crystal and the same movement as gen so I think its a great deal. AJ
