  1. Guess I was lucky with my WSO 580s, last ones I bought were a few weeks ago. If you don't mind the inaccurate open access to the springbars on the Cartel 580s they'll do the job. However, they are an easy tell to spot off the wrist.
  2. Here you go. Here's a link to a Cartel mod project I did a while back: http://rwg.cc/index.php?/topic/181702-The-updated-Cartel-5513
  3. Nope, didn't have a problem with the older cases either. Maybe I was lucky. Here's an older case with WSO 580 endlinks.
  4. It's the latest version of the Cartel case. Here's the Link to the build: http://rwg.cc/index.php?/topic/181702-The-updated-Cartel-5513 Yes, well spotted it's a Yuki pearl.
  5. From my experience the 580 WSO endlinks have fitted with 2mm WSO springbars without modification on the Cartel cases once the lugs have been drilled out.
  6. Amazing results! Congrats
  7. Thank you very much guys
  8. Well, 1000 posts! I wanted to thank everyone here at RWG for the journey of discovery I have been on since joining. Like many here I have learned from the best. I didn’t have a clue when I started, everything about modding watches I have learned here (I am still learning), and perhaps a few things from the neighbours too. However, I have always felt very much at home here and in great company. Initially all I wanted to do was to find a decent 42mm Planet Ocean. After reading through lots of advice and opinions I ordered one from Josh at Perfect Clones. The watch was great and I was hooked, the rest is history as they say. So after 1000 posts, I wanted say thanks guys and present my modest collection: PO 42mm 5517 5513 5512 IWC XVI 1665 1016 5513

  12. The Black Bay Black still retains the 41mm case. Only the Bronze has the 43mm.
  13. Pretty sure it will be a well machined fit. Doubt it will feel sloppy.
  14. Hopefully it won't be too difficult upgrade the current rep either
  15. Sure they are, over here: http://rwg.cc/index.php?/topic/183352-Tudor-Black-Bay-Bronze-%26-Heritage-upgrade
  16. And here is the new Bronze on the Tudor website: http://www.tudorwatch.com/magazine/article/baselworld-2016-black-bay-bronze ... this has taken my eye, a Heritage upgrade. Still 41mm, now with a COSC in-house movement, rivet bracelet and shield logo: http://www.tudorwatch.com/magazine/article/baselworld-2016-heritage-black-bay ...also a PVD Black Bay Dark version too:
  17. Here's a first look from Hodinkee: https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/the-tudor-black-bay-bronze-now-with-in-house-tudor-manufacture-movement
  18. Very nice indeed! Congrats and thanks for sharing
  19. Looks great! Don't think you need to do much, if anything at all, to the bezel insert. The watch looks like a well loved classic as it is. Congrats!
  20. Nope. Cartel + Phong bezel assembly
  21. Got lucky, a Singer reprint off eBay. No idea who manufactured it.
  22. 1016 today
  23. Well, you could just go for the phong bezel and a cheaper case, that's what I did.
