  1. Thanks There are some good movie clips on YouTube that demonstrate lume application. After application, I used the heat from a lamp to crack the lume slightly, dusting the dial with a matt varnish spray after.
  2. 29th June? Forward planning

  4. Wish I still knew... stumbled across it my parts bin.
  5. Thanks. Well spotted ... and now on a Yuki 7206 with MQ 80 endlinks and 2mm spring bars
  6. Tidied up the lume slightly to get closer to the look I was going for
  7. Thanks guys. Still not 100% happy I may give the lume a slight re-work.
  8. Decided to revisit this build and give the dial a puffy lume. The original Yuki lume was always tad too orange for my taste.
  9. 1665 today
  10. Nice one Bart! Thank you
  11. Yours looks pretty much spot on to me.
  12. It's a service insert I picked up in an M2M sale next door.
  13. Yes gen size is 27mm. However whatever fits the case does the job
  14. Very nice 6538 dial Bart! Is it 27mm diameter?
  15. Agree. Here's one installed on my 1665, cost ca.€100.
  16. No problems fitting. A nice snug fit. Generally, if you do encounter problems fitting the retaining ring it's no biggie to sand down the outer diameter of the crystal slightly.
  17. Omega Speedmaster Reduced today
  18. Looks great! Congrats!
  19. Welcome! Looking forward to seeing some of your builds.
  20. You can pick up rep 702 crown and tube from Athaya, a member here and also other forums. This can installed by countersinking and re-taping the case as described previously. Good luck with your build.
  21. 1016 today
  22. Thanks mate
  23. 5517 on the wrist today
