  1. Nice job! Well worth the battle!
  2. Very nice result. Looking forward to seeing you pull it all together
  3. Very nice! Great write up too!
  4. Great work. You're a Magician Bart!
  5. One of my personal favourites too. It's a pity the rep has so many irrevocable flaws, however I've been tempted more often than once to pick one up. It's a nice watch in its own right.
  6. Nice review, thank you! The Cartel is based on the 1665 mid-case, it will have that inscribed between the lugs, plus "stailess steal". Agree a shot in profile with the MBW will be very helpful.
  7. Depends on your budget, but you could check out a dial from MQ: http://vintagewatchesmq.com/minhquy/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=1024&category_id=146&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1 Or, if your case will accept 27.6mm dial, rather than 26mm, you could go for a 5510 from Yuki: http://www.yukiwatch.com/catalog/item/8677972/9637026.htm
  8. I have a Cartel one. I'll dig it out over the weekend and send you some shots.
  9. Thanks There are some good movie clips on YouTube that demonstrate lume application. After application, I used the heat from a lamp to crack the lume slightly, dusting the dial with a matt varnish spray after.
  10. Wish I still knew... stumbled across it my parts bin.
  11. Thanks. Well spotted ... and now on a Yuki 7206 with MQ 80 endlinks and 2mm spring bars
  12. Tidied up the lume slightly to get closer to the look I was going for
  13. Thanks guys. Still not 100% happy I may give the lume a slight re-work.
  14. Decided to revisit this build and give the dial a puffy lume. The original Yuki lume was always tad too orange for my taste.
