  1. I went for a 5513 PCG look with a PT 1680 case. I decided on a 27mm 6538 dial from Yuki, which is very similar to a 5513 chapter ring dial. Gen
  2. Very nice. Congrats
  3. This is what I use
  4. 5517 again today
  5. 5517 today
  6. Wasn't happy with the proportions of the HR insert, although it has a serif font the numerals are too small. So reinstalled the WSO version.
  7. Don't think he'll get full whack. Couple of things the expert commented on were a little off. Interesting watch though, certainly worth the owner doing some research.
  8. Some of you may have seen this, a Milsub converted back to standard 5513 spec, appraised on the Antiques Roadshow. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02dl7lc
  9. Yeap, should be "perpetual"
  10. Very nice, looking forward to seeing some profile shots too. Is the CWP crystal comparable to the Clark T19?
  11. Thanks. Good luck with your build too.
  12. Well that looks great! You could pick up a Yuki pearl to complete it, they're very good. The ETA 2824 is an interesting choice, the ETA 2846 has a slower beat that would match the 1966 year. Insert is fantastic, good call. Looking forward to seeing more pics!
  13. Yeap, slightly perhaps. The bigger tell on the hands is the second hand. It's too long, tail and pointer. I may give it a trim when I'm feeling brave. The insert isn't perfect either, unless you pay big bucks, the options are very limited. Gen below.
  14. Just updated the insert on the above to one from HR with a serif font.
  15. 5517 today
  16. Pulled the 1016 together today, with the Clark T21 crystal and the appropriate bezel from JMB.
  17. 1016 today
  18. Wow! Love it! Congrats
  19. Yeap, here's the link: http://www.chrono-shop.net/en/submariner-sea-dweller/307-endlinks-80-rolex-submarienr-7206-6636-ref-5510-5508-6538-6536.html
  20. The 80 endlinks are quite complex. The opening on the endlink itself is very narrow, so you need the correct end piece too for the spring bars.
  21. Good grief! Aladdin's cave
  22. PO 42mm today
  23. PO 42mm today
  24. Nice work! Thanks for sharing.
