As much as I have tried to resist, I will be pressing the preorder button in the Apple Store app for the 128 GB 6 Plus in 1 hour and 13 mins when the pre order starts.
Someone stop me!
Well according to this guy, Switzerland should be mildly worried: http://www.hodinkee.com/blog/hodinkee-apple-watch-review
Guess Apple is a sponsor of Hodinkee
Design aside, frankly, I don't need any more electronic devices that will irradiate my balls.
Bluetooth, wifi, NFC, 3G, LTE.... Gotta have an adverse effect at some point.
Congrats M.
What work did you do that took 1.5 hours? White lightning the bracelets? The Explorer is running a bit slow or the DJ is running a bit fast . Just sayin' [emoji6]
Having owned a gen MK1 16660 myself, I'd say skip any rep/re dials.
Gen (service or relumed) dial should always supersede and rep dial.
But of the two, the NDT is better. But either would have to be relumed properly.
Here's the 666 I sold a few months ago:
I am boycotting any type of "smart watch". Only a matter of time before the Rolex/AP/PP/Panerai skins start popping up. No thanks.
For me, a watch is jewellery.
Plus, I think at this stage in my life, I'd rather be less "connected" than more connected.
Other than gen, no acceptable ones were ever made. While the 14060 looks like a no date version of the 16610, it has a different case size, thickness, dial diameter. Completely different watch.
If its a movement similar to the Tourbillon, then much easier to swallow the $3k ($2.5k with discount). I've paid a lit more for worse that's for sure.
Its $3150. But still, its a bit much when I could almost buy a Speedmaster for the same.
Richemont owns RL Watches, so not sure if its using a modified JLC/IWC movement or not. If it's just a modified Selitta, then tough to justify the price. But for me, it harkens of Nixon/Fossil. I'd pass.
