  1. Still shows as "unavailable". Its a global problem
  2. Apple store has been a fail since the pre order opened. Woke up at 3:00 am for nothing. Terrible [emoji35]
  3. Actuslly I think it launches at midnight PST. Dammit. Gotta wake up at 3:00 am now!
  4. If you have a gen dial, I suggest getting a TC case and a modified/upgraded Yuki 3135. Please do not cut the gen dial's feet!
  5. As much as I have tried to resist, I will be pressing the preorder button in the Apple Store app for the 128 GB 6 Plus in 1 hour and 13 mins when the pre order starts. Someone stop me!
  6. Well according to this guy, Switzerland should be mildly worried: http://www.hodinkee.com/blog/hodinkee-apple-watch-review Guess Apple is a sponsor of Hodinkee
  7. Design aside, frankly, I don't need any more electronic devices that will irradiate my balls. Bluetooth, wifi, NFC, 3G, LTE.... Gotta have an adverse effect at some point.
  8. http://www.apple.com/watch/apple-watch/ Pebble..that's another story. I'd never buy one. I think it's hideous.
  9. Removing a gen dial for a rep dial are grounds for immediate banning. Jk (not really)
  10. congrats. who is Neckyzips? is that a person who does engraving?
  11. If you really want to do right, you should use a Bergeon 6085-E2 satin finish wheel.
  12. Congrats M. What work did you do that took 1.5 hours? White lightning the bracelets? The Explorer is running a bit slow or the DJ is running a bit fast . Just sayin' [emoji6]
  13. Having owned a gen MK1 16660 myself, I'd say skip any rep/re dials. Gen (service or relumed) dial should always supersede and rep dial. But of the two, the NDT is better. But either would have to be relumed properly. Here's the 666 I sold a few months ago:
  14. I have yet to see a PVD/DLC watch that I like. Not a fan.
  15. '67
  16. I am boycotting any type of "smart watch". Only a matter of time before the Rolex/AP/PP/Panerai skins start popping up. No thanks. For me, a watch is jewellery. Plus, I think at this stage in my life, I'd rather be less "connected" than more connected.
  17. A poor man's version of this:
  18. Other than gen, no acceptable ones were ever made. While the 14060 looks like a no date version of the 16610, it has a different case size, thickness, dial diameter. Completely different watch.
  19. If its a movement similar to the Tourbillon, then much easier to swallow the $3k ($2.5k with discount). I've paid a lit more for worse that's for sure.
  20. And an obligatory watch pic for scale:
  21. Its $3150. But still, its a bit much when I could almost buy a Speedmaster for the same. Richemont owns RL Watches, so not sure if its using a modified JLC/IWC movement or not. If it's just a modified Selitta, then tough to justify the price. But for me, it harkens of Nixon/Fossil. I'd pass.
  22. Here's a gold 6mm crown monoblock that I found in my parts box: Coronet and dash are slightly different. But fairly certain yours is fine
  23. Show off
