  1. Did someone say 5513?
  2. Just received a cheapo timegrapher in the mail. Not exactly an expert on all the functions but based on a lift angle of 52 degrees, testing period of 12s, it appears that my '67 5513 is running a tad fast.
  3. Polished center links? Looks like a canal street special.
  4. Thanks guys. I have heard of Rocco and his god-like lapping skills. He is part or my inspiration. I'm wondering though if there is an alternative to the rare and expensive machine that he uses. Would you think a normal disc sander like this might achieve similar results? I imagine the 3M abrasive lapping discs are adhesive stickers and one could slap it onto a similar sized disc sander. Obviously I'd have to fabricate a more versatile work platform, but it could work. Just a thought.
  5. Does anyone here own or can recommend a good lapping machine. Primary purpose is case shaping/polishing. Thanks
  6. Only making 6 of them. New jaguar included in the price. Buyers will be "hand selected". (i.e. Jaguar is accepting offers). http://bloom.bg/1mRvQrH
  7. You really should go with something with a bit more detail
  8. I knew it was possible. But figured one would have to laser weld/fill the existing tube and then redrill and tap 0.05mm or so higher. Internal modifications not an easy task. Well done. I can appreciate the work that went into this. Stellar.
  9. The BP case can accept a gen movement? Neat. Did it require much surgery?
  10. What movement did you use?
  11. Great job as always m. Gen dial, bezel, insert? BP case?
  12. Great condition. I tried one on at an AD last week. Ridiculously thick. She will sell quick. Congrats.
  13. Well? Did you pick it up?
  14. Not sure if its entirely accurate, but apparently the link below shows the 5 most expensive PPs ever sold at auction. http://bloom.bg/1sEmNl5
  15. I use a Bergeon 6767f http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001IZT8R2?pc_redir=1407863573&robot_redir=1# http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001IZT8R2?pc_redir=1407863573&robot_redir=1 The end on yours is way too wide.
  16. Agreed. The SD4000 is the only gen modern rolex I would consider owning
  17. The BB does take a 22mm strap.
  18. Depends on the decor of your man cave, but I've considered getting the Brunswick Gold Crown V: http://www.brunswickbilliards.ca/catalog/pool-tables/gold-crown-v.html
  19. I'm sure it'll will be a hit with Seattle Seahawks fans.
  20. I think I have a gen 5.3mm tube. Will check next week if you're not in a hurry
  21. Was helping the inlaws move a few boxes around in the basement and found a couple of vintage finds mixed in an old coin box. Mid '70's I believe. Check em out: Think they'd look best on a Nato.
  22. Ah. Perfect. Thank you G
  23. You could always get a TC 2824. But I suspect that the hands could be rubbing. Check that first.
  24. For quick material removal I use a diamond file set. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA1CY11K3135
  25. Apparently its solid AU, but the model name/number still eludes me
