  1. I have no idea what they are for. They don't glow. I fear these are rep hands.
  2. Just pic. They are shiny silver/WG Reference pic against my gen no-date
  3. Not GMT.. tip of the sweep is too short for any modern sub or GMT that I am aware of. Definitely not ceramic sub hands
  4. What Rolex, if any, is correct for these hands?
  5. Haha. Bite me. In my defense, I only saw that pic while biking today. Looking at it now..omg.
  6. Is that gen??? If so, no need to remove insert from the bezel. Just press the whole bezel over the retaining ring until it clicks in place. But like M said, you'll need the 4 springs/ball bearings. If its gen, then any RSC can fix it and provide the springs.
  7. Phong, Yuki, HH..... Gen movements do not smoothly fit when "spinning" them into place. Usually the fit is very very tight compared to gen. The milling of the grooves is usually quite poor. An exception might be the 3035 and 3135 cases from Star T1M3.
  8. Looks good to me. Crappy pic, but I can just make out the crimp marks at the bottom of the crown
  9. The same goes for most cases that accept gen movements.
  10. I have no plans on installing mine for awhile. Just trying to figure out how to separate insert from bezel.
  11. That makes sense. But the 116610 insert only has about 0.5mm overhang around the center for a die to make contact. Very puzzling.
  12. No. You don't have to remove insert to install. I have other reasons why I need to remove the insert. Just press the retaining ring over the crystal gasket like the "older" subs. Then press the bezel (with insert installed) on top of the retaining ring. Make sure the thin plastic friction washer is installed in the bezel first though. Thanks M. I'd really appreciate that.
  13. What's involved with putting the insert back? How does the plastic clip hold the insert itself?
  14. Any idea what that tool looks like or how it works?
  15. I don't think u bid on my dial.
  16. thats a 703 tube this is a 702:
  17. yes.. but has he successfully removed the gen insert from the bezel (without breaking it?).
  18. Excellent!. Love the 666 caseback!
  19. Everyone, don't flood eBay with the dials all at once. One at a time. Yes. I'm first
  20. i'm sure you can search the internets for each step. You will need to remove bracelet first. If you cant do that, then skip all other steps and proceed to a local watch guy. So you will need 3 tools. A 29.5mm oyster caseback remover, a 1.2mm flat hobby screwdriver, tweezers, and a tube of GS Hypo cement (very much like model glue). So search each step (e.g. "Removing Rolex caseback..."removing stem from ETA"...etc). You'll be fine. That is a good watch to experiment/practice on
  21. No need to take the crystal off. Open up the Caseback, remove crown stem, remove movement screws, plop out movement, glue back triangle with GS hypo cement.
  22. Depends on what u paid. It's not gen. Dammit. I should just keep my mouth shut.
  23. Yes. it looks great. All three gen domes have straight sidewalls and a corner before the transition to the domed curvature. I've used pretty much every aftermarket T19 made. I'd say what you have is the Startime T19.
