Very strange indeed.
The better to do is is relax and try to follow up with the collector...
It should be possible to find a good issue with him if he is a trustable one from here .
Good luck,
Stephane

I have been lucky founding this genuine case back and it fits the rep
Having said that it coted a little fortune (100$ + customs bloddy taxes from US to EU)
-
Yes, very nice reps and affordable.
Happy for you.

If they confirm their turn to very ugly watches for people with no taste, our good old 60/70ies models will become very very expensive in a century
Our grand kids will be very rich owning our reps

Ryan,
Sorry; sometimes my english is not clear.
A shortcut is that we agree: taste is taste and no logical debate is needed.
We say in french: "tous les gouts sont dans la nature".

Stefane,
I can assure you that it's not such an ugly piece (at least in my eyes): it's kind of a subtle variation on the very classic Patek Calatrava Officer's model and actually looks quite good on the wrist.
But I do agree that the price is insane - especially since I wanted the damn thing!
I wonder if it will go to a thousand?
Ryan,
I will have to trust you on the look of this watch and tell you: if you like it, I'm more than happy you have it
Still 37 MM with that kind of dial and a quartz is not talking to me.
But, of course, can talk to many others.
As per variations on classic Manufacture model, only a Manufacture model is a Manufacture model to my eyes unfortunately.
If it reaches 1.000 ? Will you still think you like it ? Or would you rather get 3 MBWs reflecting GEN models, not fantasy ones ?
Cheers

Their descritpion is not even sexy at all:
UP FOR AUCTION IS ONE OF HIS GREAT WATCH DESIGNS. A MENS QUARTZ,37MM CASE, WATER RESISTANT, WATCH WITH SUB DIAL SECOND HAND AT 6 O'CLOCK AND MINUTE TRACK. ON LEATHER STRAP. THIS ITEM IS NEW OLD STOCK.
That is a really awfull watch to my opinion, looks cheap, small, in other words, all that I dislike.
Fortunately for the seller, not everybody agree with me.
Imagine what kind of Fiddy or SD you get for that price !
Guys: 710$ when I checked it last time
Isn't that insane ?
Cheers

Many thanks Navi.

Thanks Stephane, I was just looking at this No5 die, at watch-tool.de and was wandering is it good size for Sub (and it would be even better if it's good size for modern SD and YM as well...) ?
regards,
Ivan
Subs and SD yes, YM, sorry I have none.
And the ball seems to be a great method id the case back isn't to tight.
I will try this ball one of these days

In my country it's showing piano concerts right now...
I was full of hope but i guess that show about counterfeit goods will be broadcasted another day/time

Sorry....my hands were made for sifting $100 notes and holding champagne flutes......not for picking tiny screws up off the floor.......I'll leave it to you field workers to get a tan and do the manual labour thing......!

Ragsy,
Seems you have an answer now !
Enjoy.

Hi Z3K0,
By buying a cheap set you might discover that the dies is not very well finished and will scratch your case back.
Just in case, here is a link where you can by Genuine Bergeon Dice (N

Hi Ragsy,
I voted for the Omega but the IWC would do it too.
The Dubuis is too flashy to my opinion.

The plastic pin link removers from eBay are indeed too fragile.
Here is what I finally used myself (A FlipTopBuckle Hammer)

I would hold the Bentley on my fist..
El...fist ? Do you mean Fist F****** ?
If so, remove the watch, she could be hurted
-
O yeah, we did; otherwise the subject line would be "Anybody heard from N... lately?"
This kind of thing is strange, I always have good communication with the Chinese (say) collectors, never had a problem like that...
By the way: "Anybody heard TTK's voice lately ? "
It's horrible

I wish I undertand it all (I tiried but the poem is too complicated for me)
It's an incredible story and, what else can one say, WEAR IT IN GOOD HEALTH.
